Wow. Was not expecting that pitching change! I’m glad they took him out!!
Wiped off the board by a 4-3 DP. Winslow was never tagged by the second-baseman, but was ruled out of the basepaths... much to the disapproval of Scott Forbes, who voiced his displeasure to the second-base umpire.
He didn’t have it, which was why it was so frustrating seeing our boys swing at balls. Good call by their coach.
We surely let him off the hook… but I think he also wanted his right hander against Macon and Cooper too
Ball was demolished as well... 403 ft/113 off the bat. Just his third of the season in only his 10th game.
We have got to get Ryan some run support. Pitt is very good, but we’re the #2 team in the country. We need to show it.
Ok, what’s up with the Pitt pitching? That RHP did well against us, and didn’t get his pitch count up. Why are we seeing another third pitcher already?
Saturday staff days have become a norm for Pitt in recent weeks.

Schaffner plates Hynek with a ground rule double to right-center... bad luck, would have been a sure triple and plated a second run... Pitt going back to the pen
Hull plates French on an infield single to short... Pitt shortstop tried to go to third, made a nice play but Schaffner evaded the tag.
