No, but if you want advice to give to the 13 year old, go with what I was told and have told many others.
Fifty percent of the people will have no idea if you make a mistake, 40 percent love you too much to say anything and the other 10 percent just want you to finish so they can have lunch.

We’ve got a couple this year (daughter’s friends) - have read the going/appropriate gift is $300+. I grew up in Beaver Co and didn’t have any Jewish classmates, so have no idea about this stuff.

Our village is around 35-40% Jewish and I’d never heard of that except for the closer friends and relatives. My son is 12 but on the older side for his class, so invites are just starting to roll in.
