Trying to decide if I like the Saturday 11am B1G games or the Friday night games less. So lame.

I wish every game was Saturday afternoon or night, or Thursday night.

The only complaint, and it's a valid one, is the conflict with high school games. Lots of town across America, particularly in areas where football overall as a sport is important, are all about their Friday night high school football games. It's part of their culture, the fabric of their society, religion, etc. Those people don't think you should put a conflicting college game on top of that. And they're right.

Totally agree, but money talks and Nebraska only has one Friday on November 6 and the Clarkeyes fan base only has October 9th to contend with the other won’t have any conflict with high school games.

FWIW, Nebraska HS regular season ends in mid-October every year. Playoffs are in their 3rd week and by the time November 6 rolls around there are not many HS teams still playing. Not all playoff games are played on Friday.

...tradeoffs. Lots of folks miss Saturday games because of kids activities on Saturday. There is no perfect day or time that accomodates, everyone.

I missed the Minnesota game last year. Recorded it to watch it later. At the HS game I was at that night, the stands were packed. It was a great game between two really good teams. I didn't notice anyone having the NU game pulled up on their phones. The announcer didn't announce scoring updates. I didn't find out that NU was down three scores until somebody said something after the game and I was glad that I avoided wasting more time in my life watching the Husker football team **** the bed again.

My takeaway there is that the people there cared a lot more about that HS game than the NU game. Of course, others probably stayed home to watch the Huskers but there was a big crowd. Husker football has fallen far enough now that it doesn't hurt the HS gate that much.

One Millard school usually plays on Thursday so one of the other Millard schools can use Buell Stadium on Friday night.
