So, what's it like on this board?

Rivals WhoreChant shut down all political talk and made the Locker Room (Off Topic) paid years ago, so most wound up on the Iowa Hawkeye Off Topic board. Now that's gone paid only too.

Anyone down for 50+ Hawkeye, Nole and one NC Tarheel posters?
$10 a month is too much for you huh?

While I too am a guest and thus in no position to extend invitations, I would just say:

seriously though…moderately easier to have a coherent discussion before devolving into name calling, though each site has its unbearable trolls that can be easily ignored. Also more manageable number of threads.

ps- I guess the death of Iowa wrestling must have eliminated the cross subsidy from that board

I think you'll be able to decipher pretty quickly who is interested in an earnest conversation and who isn't. Be one of the people interested in an earnest conversation and not one of the people I have on ignore.

For Gene's goofy butt on Whorechat? I wouldn't give him my pocket lent. For a team I don't follow, though?

If you'd like, we can invite some of our resident "retards" over here. You're call.
I meant retard in a good, loving way. More people to converse with.

Does strike me as a little odd that you don't want to pay the measly $10 a month. Chris is a good dude. You don't want to go to someone's house, take a **** and then leave. I do see your point about Fla Sate though. I wouldn't want to pay for that either.

I'm feeling catty today, apparently. The guy you responded to is like the old woman from The Notebook. If you coax them along for a really long time they'll sometimes erupt from their fog and show some cognitive ability. It's rough, it really gets your hopes up. Then they go back to normal and you realize it's better just to smother them with a pillow (proverbially). I can't remember if that's how The Notebook ends.

Not if we have any plans on sticking around.

I already added this forum to my bookmark favorites. For the record, I am a paying subscriber at FSU On3. I'm here to keep in touch with the many friends I have interacted with on our various boards over the years. If the past is any indication, we'll add some new friends here at Clemson politics/OT.

Also, Esso Club is a cool bar and Jack in the Box in South Carolina is a must stop while passing through the state.

I have the "invite" thread built. All I have to do is pull the trigger. This board will become an instant cesspool, akin to an incestuous Alabama trailer park party.
I can see the merit and risks of both courses of action. Put the beacon here and hope all of them permanently rehome, but running the very real risk that the incels have unlimited free time and will pollute both boards. The safe bet seems to not put the beacon here and hope they never find it.

Unless, of course, I pull the trigger and invite the Russian Bot Farm over.

Please don't reference that movie anymore. I am having PTSD from my junior year at Clemson and this one girl I was trying to date. I don't know how many times I watched that movie.

Unless this place has it's fair share of trolls, then we can throw a grenade upon exit. ;)

How many of yall live in Florida? Where abouts down there. Always interesting to get input from different, but similar regions.

I've had a house near downtown Tampa for the last 21 years. I've barely been there for the past 2 years due to helping out with elderly family members with health problems. 10 years in Palm Beach and 25 years in Miami before that.
