Its a start. At least O'Connor is acknowledging we need a change on Sunday. Maybe it will be a 6 inning combo of Bauer and Webb. Something like that
I wouldn't start Bauer and mess up his groove. Don't get him in his head unnecessarily.

Kind of agree. Right now he’s the best option as #3 starter. But then you lose him in the bullpen. We probably don’t beat LSU or Texas on Saturday if he doesn’t pitch. But I don’t know who else to start Sunday. Unless, maybe, we might be thinking about McPherson for 3-4 innings depending on how his bullpen session went.
I thought they were prepping Billingsley a couple weeks ago, although he probably hurt himself with a couple of shaky innings the last two outings.
What the heck happened to Pitzer? Before the season, it would not have surprised me if he was our third starter.
It’s definitely possible, but the expectation seems to be that he’d start out in the bullpen.
I wouldn’t mind rolling with Miller and hoping he can get through the order twice before turning things over to the bullpen.
A lot is going to depend on how Tito and Duke pitch. If either starter struggles, we’ll end up taxing the bullpen, which could create problems for Sunday.
That’s what hurt us against Texas on Sunday — the bullpen got overworked Saturday, and we really had nothing left.
