I thought the no punting once you cross the 50 rule in the UFL would be bad but it can really destroy a game. It can basically turn a penalty into a turnover. It's happened multiple times in this Kings game.
I'm excited for the change to Stein & his energy. That doesn't translate to me expecting immediate high results, say 6-6. I'll sit back & wait a while - though I don't have a lot of whiles left in me.
Amen brother. My whiles are running out as well and seems to be getting a little faster every day. I have a lot of hope for this new Staff and Will has definitely got the it factor, let’s hope it translates to the field. I think it will.

I have been a member there for years. Good board and good people but not a lot of activity. Maybe if more people joined things would pick up.
Why no football or General discussion board ? I get not wanting a bunch of different sub boards but figured those 2 would be gimmes

Having the seperate board again would be fantastic. This board is overrun with the same tired *** takes beating this Pope debacle into the ground. At some point everything that can be said has been said.

Sure, we have no idea what to expect out of this football team with all the change, but it's at least positive and optimistic. I agree wholeheartedly with the bitching about Pope, but I'm beyond fatigued at this point. Enough. I realize that will fall on deaf ears.

Stein is going to turn UK into a football school this season. I don't know if people realize how miserable Kentucky basketball is going to be this season. Similar to the covid season, picked bottom 5 talent wise in the SEC. People should move on from Pope and just focus on the new AD and new coach next year.
Being picked to do poorly in the preseason is nothing like the COVID team. The COVID team was a preseason top 10 team IIRC

Going to be nice to not have to watch those pee wee league calls on offense. Going to be nice not watching our defense in prevent mode while trying to win ice away a win. This is such a far shift than what we've been used to and I can't freaking wait. I haven't been this excited for Kentucky football since we christened the Pizza Pit in blowout fashion. Record be damned, it's going to be one heck of a fun football season.
