Should be a blow to the libs out there who would have no problem with a biological male playing on the UW women`s team but they are so irrational they probably still believe in that.

It does expose the lunacy when high school boys can beat college and professional women's teams. A high school boys team would go undefeated in the WNBA.

I wonder why college/pro men never play high school girl's teams?

I was coaching girls softball back in 2008 or 2009 the first year colleges allowed spring sports to have a somewhat small fall practice season against other teams. That first year I was able to schedule my 16U travel team against some pretty good colleges at their home fields across the state. That one fall will stick with me the rest of my life. We had a pretty good team and managed to go 5-1 against those colleges with the only loss going to Spartanburg Methodist just after the year they finished 5th in the country in their national JUCO world series tournament,
Good thing was we signed at least one girls to every team we played. Bad news was it left me thinking we tend to hoist these colleges up on a pedestal probably more than they deserve. Anyway, most colleges quit scheduling travel teams soon after that and went to playing other colleges. That was a dang shame for the kids trying to be seen. That was a blast of a fall.

Most college WBB teams practice against men. That tells you all you need to know.

Men, or boys? But your point is true. They practice against men/boys so the games against women will seem easier by comparison.

I checked the roster for the university of Washington women's soccer team, I did not notice a biological male on the roster. Is there such a player you describe on that team?

If you’ve seen film of these practices the first thing you notice is the men have to keep their arms down.Basically just moving their feet.Otherwise the women wouldn’t get a shot off. That being said I’m sure going against quicker athletes helps the women a great deal.

Yeah, I have seen clips of the WNBA teams practicing against men. Usually it's has-been former college players they are playing against, and the men are going at maybe 20%, if that.

And what's even worse is that these 8 trans athletes in the NCAA have raised gas prices to over $4/gallon, ground beef to $8.50/lb and started another war in the Middle East. It's horrible!

There were no trans athletes involved, to my knowledge. I don't think the UW women's soccer team has any trannies on it and the U14 boys team obviously does not.

Do you really wonder why, or are you just acting stupid?

As usual, you hide behind your "cover" that your original post wasn't about trans athletes - or trans people in general, for that matter - and then you go on in subsequent posts to lament over why trans people shouldn't play sports. You obviously suffer from TDS - Trans-people Derangement Syndrome.

Peculiar that you let your fearful feelings about what less than 1% of the population does with themselves drive your decisions about what is good policy that actually helps people. But then again, it's not surprising coming from people radicalized by Fox, Newsmax and the Daily Caller.

Wow, someone got seriously triggered. You should reread the thread and which poster actually brought up the trans athletes. That poster spoke about irrational libs too, and you're doing your best to prove him right.

You've done this on several threads lately. Maybe take a break from watching propaganda/news for a while.

I'm unaware of "gender equality" issues. The issue is equal opportunity. Not the same thing.

Let's not pretend there isn't equality issues with pay, working conditions too. There's all sorts of angles to the men vs women in sports debate.

I believe women should be paid dollar for dollar for everything they do as well as men do. Without hesitation.

Sports is not one of those things. Professional women can't beat high school boys. The best WNBA player in history would ride the bench on a good boy's high school basketball team.

The workplace is different from the field, pitch, or court re: men and women working together or competing in sports.

I agree with you re: the workplace.

In sports, it's whatever the free market responds to. We've now debated NIL here on FGF for quite a while. The average football player will land more NIL $$$ than the average tennis or baseball player. Not that the football player works harder and/or is more talented than the tennis/baseball player, but because of football's greater popularity, the businesses underwriting NIL deals can make more $$$ off of a football player.

I don't disagree with you re: the athletic talent level of men vs women. But ultimately, in sports, IMO, it boils down to ROI.

You are correct, and women and their mouthpieces need to realize and accept this. A woman playing basketball is worth nowhere near what a man playing basketball is because the public will not pay anywhere close to the same amount to watch women play as men. The fact the job is basically the same has nothing to do with the commensurate pay level for the participants.

I personally prefer watching the play of top women's teams, but I do know that I'm not in the majority. As long as everyone respects everyone else's choices, I'm good.

And hopefully there is no sexism involved (I wish).

Agreed, but that doesnt really address what I said about there being all sorts of angles beyond just equal opportunity.

If someone waved a magic wand and all sexism on Earth vanished, women's sports still wouldn't pay the same as men's. The product is simply vastly inferior.
Yes. The free market would still decide.
