That sounds right. I spent a lot of summer evenings on the front porch with my papaw and his radio, listening to the Reds in the mid/late 70s when we visited. But I recall few televised games then. There were only Reds fans in E.KY until TBS and WGN stations became part of everybody's cable programing in the 80s. As a kid back then you could occasionally see a Reds game on one of the 3 Networks (usually on a Saturday, I think), but you would come home from school almost everyday and there was always a Cubs or Braves game on.
Naw. It’s on like the CW network or somsthing maybe? This was years ago so I’m trying lol. It was like a computer generated thing.
Maybe a frog in a tuxedo dancing and playing an instrument? That’s stuck in my head for some reason. lol.

It’s gonna drive me nuts. It’s really not that funny or a big deal but just something I remmeber.I don't recall it, but I'd sure like to see it
I'm curious now too. I couldn't turn anything up.It’s gonna drive me nuts. It’s really not that funny or a big deal but just something I remmeber.
Maybe?
I think that was it. Hopefully it works. Been a minute.
Did you see it? I posted a link. I think that’s it. Like I said, been a minute. I just remmeber always seeing it on Chicago broadcast games. Even when I went to other cities with my parents and watched a game I saw it if it was a Chicago game.I'm curious now too. I couldn't turn anything up.
I thought about that one, it's from Warner Brothers cartoons. I loved that one as a kid.Did you see it? I posted a link. I think that’s it. Like I said, been a minute. I “think” that was it. I think it had a real cheesy voice too. Regardless, it’s ingrained in my childhood memories apparently. lol.I thought about that one, it's from Warner Brothers cartoons. I loved that one as a kid.
The original voice was kind of deep and I remember him singing "Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal"I “think” that was it. I think it had a real cheesy voice too. Regardless, it’s ingrained in my childhood memories apparently. lol.
Lmao. If you say so but that sounds about right. Oh Lordy. The original voice was kind of deep and I remember him singing "Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal"
I’m a Reds and Bengals fan of 40+ years. But gives up in May? Maybe it’s an act but it’s a tired one. I’d be pissed if I was a Cincy fan. Speaking of baseball, I would love to catch a Reds game. Been decades. I even got a jersey. lol.
I get it. Just don’t hype them up and constantly **** on them afterwords if you know what’s going to happen.I’m a Reds and Bengals fan of 40+ years.
It’s very common to give up on Cincy sports teams early in the season, usually for good reason.
Bengals have been cooked before mid October many times. With the Reds, I follow closely until they’re out of contention. That means pre Memorial Day most years since 1995. Lol
Stop. You're making too much sense lol. I guess no one else does this with friends? I can't tell you how many times I've told friends I love football one weekend and I hate it and it's stupid the next. It's hyperbole to get a chuckle out of them. It's mostly hyperbole for entertainment.
