If Moreno stays in, this time next year he will wish would have stayed in school. He would have been playing and getting paid as opposed to sitting or playing in the G league. He has got so much to learn before even thinking about that right now.

If Moreno stays in the draft the results and game attendance will be similar to that of the 9-16 team.
It will be a season of embarrassment. I really try not to turn off games, but I had to multiple times last season. Gonzaga and Vandy being two of them. I have a feeling it'll happen a lot this coming season especially if Moreno goes (lol). I cannot stomach total domination against us.

Moreno WILL NOT be staying in the draft. My entire life I've been a UK fan and an NBA fan and an NBA draft fan. Except for UK, I know the NBA quite a bit better than college basketball. If MM stays in the draft he's looking at a late 1st round pick or second round. If he goes late first round it's a wash on next year's money but if he falls to second round he makes less money for the next several years.

With NIL it is crazy for any Freshman who isn't projected as a lottery pick to stay in the draft. Think about the math: if MM stays in college the next 3 years he figures to make $10-11mil over that period and then probably goes in the lottery picks for a pay rise and a 4 year guaranteed contract. If he falls to second round he makes $7 million over the next four years and then maybe doesn't get a 2nd contract.
Moreno fan here… Moreno is never going in the lottery, barring one of the greatest leaps in development in CBB history.

Feel pretty confident Moreno will be back. No inside knowledge, just NBA knowledge and a lot of experience with NBA drafts — he isn’t sniffing the lottery. I can’t see him turning down the bag to move on as a non-lottery guy. He will be a Cat next year — not worth entertaining other scenarios IMHO. Less than 10% chance he’d leave. <1% chance he’d be selected in the lottery.

What if Moreno stays in the draft because he doesn't want to deal with next years teams and potential perception?

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings on the guy, but I see major potential. Some things that need to be fixed are: he needs to remove being soft. Stop the one dribble when near the basket and just go up for a dunk. And when double teamed pass the ball out instead of a turnover.

Right now I think the only contributors for next years team are: Diallo, Wilkins, Moreno.

Potential: K Williams, Hawthorne, N'Diaye.

If we lose Moreno, I think that would be a major blow to the roster. Simply because who do we have to replace him? If Pope could actually recruit, it would be a 50/50. Nice if he stayed, doesn't matter if he left.

Or am I the only one who feels that way?
We will win 7 games instead of 8

In that disastrous situation, I wouldn't try to replace him, because at this point, you cant. I would take MMs money and the money you have left and throw it at Momcilovic, Hampton and Montero and hope you can land two of them. I would start N'Daye and McBride(who reminds me of Popeye Jones), at the 4 and 5, move Williams and Hawthorne to PF, and try to outscore teams

I'm starting to entertain sad thoughts that Pope walks away during the season.

You should consider relaxing and searching for humor. You'll die happier. Of course I'm not stalking you, but going by my avatar you should know that I wouldn't have any need to tell you if I was :D

I think dying will suck happy or not. Trust me. I don’t need a relaxing or humor tip from anyone. I’m ripped watching one of the planet of the ape movies in bed. Got street tacos upstairs. I’m straight.

I don’t think there would be a huge change. It’d just go from ‘we suck’ to ‘we suck sooooo bad’.

There are reports that Moreno turned down $4 million offered by a portal suitor wanting him to transfer. I suspect he makes that much at UK next year. If so, I think it wise he return and make more guaranteed money than he would get in the draft.
