I have less concerns about it not being complete and more concerns about what is left to complete it with. There isn't enough there to be very competitive currently. And grabbing a backup for Moreno or another bench guard doesn't really move the needle much. That's the concern. We have 12 players and have room for three more. Two of those three need to be pretty damned good to make this team better than Popes first, which is probably what he needs to keep his job.

Bad enough to make the backcourt (all three of them) look appealing.
I thought it was strange they quit the Devin Williams recruitment. Read they were recruiting him as a PF and when they got Mcbride and N'diaye just stopped.
I’ll admit, any time I see this I just think the player told the staff no thanks. I know it’s not the case, but it’s where my mind goes.
I don't disagree with that, but claiming we won't make the tournament before the roster is set, or that we will win 7-10 games as someone else said is straight over the top nonsense or Trolls trolling

What if UK paid for moving expenses?
Hmm, add Gonzaga to that list too. If we get Duke as our ACC opponent we might be the underdogs in all six games lol. I have a feeling we play Virginia though. UNC is still a big question mark, and Indiana had a big portal haul but no guarantees. Hard to predict we do better than 3-3 with the current roster.
I won't be surprised. I have no illusions going into this next season that we will be world beaters. Sub-mediocrity at best.
I wonder who the interim HC would be… I think Alvin Brooks held the title of associate head coach, and then Hart had HC experience. I guess right now it would be Mo Williams

Addressing your last two paragraphs, remember Pope tore down the murals of Kentucky players that moved to the NBA. Another of the many blunders he’s made while coaching here. What an absolute stupid move.

His seat should be rather warm now. I would love nothing more than to see Pope turn this around. It's sort of a win-win situation. If Pope gets it right, we win with an alum. If not, we get a new coach.
