Below standards? There's been about four different points in the entirety of UK's history where we've lost at least 26 games in two years. What has he actually done well?

And yet he did as well as Cal last four seasons.1. 0/14 on top 20 recruits.
2. No primary portal recruits in two cycles.
3. 64% career winning percentage.
4. Averaging a 7 1/2 place finish in the SEC in two seasons.
5. Scarce player retention.
6. Historic number of blowout losses.
7. Averaging 16 points per tournament loss while at UK.
8. 26 losses in two years.
What was the after-school snack for the day? Surely an adult wouldn't be that immature when someone presents a counterargument.

Most here aren’t distasteful of Pope, just the trajectory Pope is on. He just doesn’t seem to do anything right and appears to be compounding. It’s worth discussing and analyzing.
Now, if some of our Badgers take it a step further by DM-ing his daughters or similar, then yes I have a serious problem with that. Disappointment and anger shouldn’t be stretched to full out viciousness.

I agree most of the vitriol is gross and didn't help things. I don't agree he should get a fourth year barring some spectacular run, but even then it would have to be one for the ages. The perception of being a coach players don't want to play for is out there whether deserved or not.
In regards to my original post I know I offended some people. I apologize. My intent was to show that maybe this is taken a little too seriously. And the hate on here isn’t right. I’m as big a Uk fan as any of you and frustrated with the situation now. I just hate to see the hatred towards Pope. I’m sure he’s well aware of his situation. I hope he works out but we all know what happens if he doesn’t.
