Are we just going to to through and spell check everything? You going to accuse me of having multiple DUis next? Going to bring up dead posters to make me feel bad?

Personally, I like Reese. I’m sure some Iowa fans want credit for her too.
this is a real Iowa issue where Iowa fans think everyone needs to bow down to Clark, they don’t.
I think we’ve all agreed that Clark had an impact but they don’t need to thank Clark.
No, she only got drafted at all bc she’s PB’s girlfriend. She should publicly thank Clark and PB for her contract.
I think some of the haters have daughters or nieces that CC embarrassed in club or school BB and they're forever going to hold a grudge. The wnba was a joke before Clark and would still be a joke if not for her. It's not rocket science. Some of you must be jealous of her success

Did you lash out at Dawn Staley for thanking Caitlin Clark?
Link to where anyone has ever said this?
I was wrong, apparently. I would swear I saw a report some team had less than 3000 one game. However, in 2024 there were 5 teams that had between 3200 and 5400 for the lowest attended games. Meanwhile, Fever had 15000 for their lowest attended game and they were .500 that year. So no, it had NOTHING to do with Caitlin!! In 2023 Fever won 13 games. Attendance was a whooping 4000+- that year. What big name teams only averaged a few thousand fans?
99% because of CC. 1% because of the rest.Anyone that says it's all because of Caitlin is saying that.
If you think she needs other players to be the court...then it obviously can't be all because of Caitlin

Feel better?
WNBA app. Need to register online I think.Anyone know a free stream for the game tonight?
She's the reason why Las Vegas moves their games from Michelob ULTRA Arena (12k) to T-Mobile Arena (18k) when the Fever come to town. Lol.My bad...I didn't realize that Caitlin was the reason why Las Vegas was the first team to sell out its season tickets.
She was not in the box scoreI didn't watch the game. Did Tomi Taiwo play for Nigeria today? Clark's Iowa teammate for two years.

I really think this is the make or break year for the w and whether the new agreement will be sustainable. My biggest negatives that can’t be controlled (namely athleticism and strength/coordination to finish contested layups and even layups which are uncontested) are that they completely don’t call violations of freedom of movement, and allow so many hard fouls including moving screens, so that a lot of games are goonish while players with beautiful games get physically beat up if not injured. The preseason games thus far seem to have a much tighter whistle, which pleases me. We will see if it continues once play starts, or if it is back to hand checking guards up and down the court along with players like greiner getting away with elbowing and hitting people in the head all game long. If they get this right i think many/most of the Caitlin fans like me will stick around. If it’s another meat grinder season with her getting injured I think many will check out. W will go on as it did before, but along with old viewership and attendance, which I don’t think can support the new salaries. But who knows, we’ll see.No doubt.
I have said she has not had an impact...they still sell out at the 12,000 at Mandalay with out her.
What we've seen so far is a much better game. Announcers continually comment on how players and coaches pretty much demand the game gets cleaned up. Hell they even call travel now..I really think this is the make or break year for the w and whether the new agreement will be sustainable. Selling out at $20 a ticket is different than selling out at $100 a ticket. No doubt.

The problem is very few players in the W play good defense because they’re not athletic enough so they grab and hold…if they call that all the time then the game will be nothing but fouls and take forever, so people will tune out then too. CC is the only player that is must watch TV and they’re taking that away, so I don’t see the viewership lasting.I really think this is the make or break year for the w and whether the new agreement will be sustainable. You should waddle back to the off-topic board. Your posts are slightly worse over thereView attachment 1279098
It’s posts like this my guy. We don’t need to thank CC for every single good thing that happens to the wnba post 2024.
Isn't it also possible that players would learn that they can't grab and hold and stay in the game? People will always operate in a manner which benefits them the most. If the league stops rewarding this type of play then the players will adjust and the quality of the officiating and by extension the product will improve. The problem is very few players in the W play good defense because they’re not athletic enough so they grab and hold…if they call that all the time then the game will be nothing but fouls and take forever, so people will tune out then too. I think the players will adapt very quickly and stop the fouling. IMO it will only take a week or two for the players to adjust. As the game changes, maybe some of the "not athletic" women can transition to law enforcement or Roller Derby. The problem is very few players in the W play good defense because they’re not athletic enough so they grab and hold…if they call that all the time then the game will be nothing but fouls and take forever, so people will tune out then too. Players adjust. It's just like kids, you have to be consistent with your discipline. The problem is very few players in the W play good defense because they’re not athletic enough so they grab and hold…if they call that all the time then the game will be nothing but fouls and take forever, so people will tune out then too. No bc that game happened directly after they played CC. It’s pretty common for the winning team to give credit to the losing team after the game.
If defense is limited and they call fouls which should be called then that means more scoring which is a more exciting product, which they should want. If teams want to foul out all of their players to hang on to the old way of things then let them foul out and eventually get cut from the league. The problem is very few players in the W play good defense because they’re not athletic enough so they grab and hold…if they call that all the time then the game will be nothing but fouls and take forever, so people will tune out then too. Okay and? Do you want me to be mad? I’m not.Dawn Staley didn't give credit to the losing team in that video. She gave credit to one person and that was Caitlin Clark. And you know that, but for some reason won't acknowledge it.

They can’t keep up with the person they’re guarding and they want to stay on the floor, so they’ll revert to grabbing….thats why there are so many fouls now.Isn't it also possible that players would learn that they can't grab and hold and stay in the game? You can only adjust to the point your ability allows you to.Players adjust. It's just like kids, you have to be consistent with your discipline.
