At this point, my thinking is to clean house on both the coaching staff and the players.
WTH?? I thought they had forfeited this season back after the Queens college debacle, but to be honest, by the looks of theses results, they did!! Rid the diamond of all of them!! Coaches and players. This team strikes out more than at bat!!

Seems like one bad play after another. Only us can we have half the infield running to the outfield to field a bunt... a two base bunt. Smh. Most of their hits have come in garbage time, like yesterday.
I kept hearing how the LSU pitching staff led the universe in HBP and WPs... and it wasn't even close and how their team ERA was only better than Vandy.

He's a Coastal guy, got an extension to 2030, can get to the CWS from where he is, and without the pressure that would come from jumping over to here. The only reason to come here would be $$$, if we could make it sweet enough, which is a conundrum because if money is the only reason for coming, that means he probably isn't the guy you want. The former may be challenging. The latter, to me, is more reaslistic.

As long as the folks in Conway continue to invest in the baseball program, there's no reason for him to leave. And I would consider a pay raise to be an investment.

Lee was successful here 2003-2008 as an assistant. I doubt he is telling the kids to just swing at anything. You can tell kids to sit fastball with 0 or 1 strike and open up and put the ball in play with 2 strikes. The kids have to do it. I've seen terrible swings at terrible pitches early in the count. Sometimes that is on the kids. It's hard to tell who to blame. Not every kid can see pitches the same. Some can pick up spin or hand location, but most kids can't. However all kids at that level can sit on a fast ball and be on time. No reason to swing at a sweeper, slider, curve etc unless you have 2 strikes.
The only reason to go to Omaha is the collect some obscure baseball hat. UC Irvine Anteaters one of my favs.
