Came down to academics. Good for you and welcome to RU.

Yeah, most folks don’t realize, academics are still an important decision in a lot of athletes college decisions. Most know they are not going to be professional athletes beyond what they get or earn in college, so the college degree does matter.

A mercenary, but a good get and now-a-days most programs recruit this type of talent if they want to win

>Daye is no stranger to the transfer portal, as Rutgers will be her fourth school in five years. Over her career, she has spent time with DePaul, St. John’s, and, most recently, Purdue. During her lone season as a Boilermaker, Daye averaged a career-high 12.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, both of which were also team highs, while appearing in 25 games. She recorded double-digit points in all but four games she played in last season. Daye committed to Rutgers despite also taking visits to Syracuse and Florida.<

Don't care for all her movement. 4 school in 5 years. Sends all kinds of mixed messages. Well, we shall see.
This could become the new norm as players will be chasing higher dollar amounts at other programs or will be getting squeezed out by better players coming in who are getting those bigger bags of cash.
