I’m sure it’ll be a good time. I really enjoy his music.

I’ve heard mixed things on our ticket sales. Pretty sure they’re still for sale. Make of that what you will.

Probably won’t be the biggest crowd but should be a blast. Concerts are tough sledding these days if you are not Morgan Wallen. Post Malone just cancelled several shows including Oxford bc they weren’t selling any tickets

I bought tickets a month ago. Told my son that he had to get grades up before I took him. He worked hard for 3 weeks trying to pull those (after spring break) high C’s into respectable B’s.

He text yesterday about 10 am and said that he made 95 and 88 on math and English this week.

I said since you won’t actually know till Sunday (when the electronic grades come out), you worked hard these last weeks, and will grant you the ticket.

He was and still is ecstatic! Said he’s fixing to go get in shower, some 3 hrs before time to leave.

Man that’s awesome. Y’all enjoy!

Heard 23,000 on Thursday
Hopefully last minutes will add another 5,000+
Similar to my numbers.

I’m pumped for Starkville though. Honestly, the city seems like they’ve done well spacing out the Spring weekends to visit between Weiner Dog, ZB and SBW. Would be interesting to see some revenue figures.

Not my cup of tea but they certainly hit the jackpot on the weather, saw he had to cut it short in Lincoln. Pretty windy out but otherwise is spectacular.

I was wondering if any one was going or what the response has been. Saw them setting up a merch tent in front of Two Brothers yesterday but otherwise,, haven't really heard much about it but hope ~25,000'ish is viewed as "successful". Anyone seen what attendance has been so far in previous stops?

Pretty cool there is a "stadium tour" here. Heading down for tennis and thought I'd walk over to see what DWS looks like set up for a concert. First time, right?

I haven’t been to a concert in years, but the ones I’ve looked into, the ticket prices are absolutely insane. I can understand why sales are slow.

My daughter (sophomore at State) told me they sold out within a week.
She got bad info. There were thousands still listed on our ticket site this week.
Wallen didn’t even come close to selling out Bryant Denny a few weeks ago. The common theme was the face value prices were insanely high.

A family of 4 for Wallen for endzone seats 100 yards from the stage would have ran close to $1200. Not to mention parking, merch, concessions.

I get these support NIL. But there’s probably a lower ticket price that would actually result in more profit.

They upgraded everyone who bought upper deck in presale. Upper deck is shut down completely. Hopefully they sold enough tickets for everybody to make some money.

Well I’m here and there’s not many people at all here. First opening act so we will see.

300 level was shut down and they were just upgrading everyone with those tickets.

I hate it but that’s what’s going on right now.

For those that might be interested. I know tours take a lot but still amazing when you see in the live. Pretty cool to see this type of production come to town.
And TennisDogs win again in a beat down. As depressing as college sports has become, something nice about the team lining up at the bottom of the stairs from the stands to say "thanks for coming" and shaking everyone's hand. That and to hear our international players and fans chant "Let's go Boodogs". Still cracks me up but makes for a great atmosphere.

Walked around to this from the east side.

From the west, both upper decks covered in black (hard to imagine what that cost)

Probably 10 tour buses and a dozen or so tractor trailers.

He has a lot of very talented musicians in the band, so all those buses are needed.
