I've seen them listed as interested in him. I've seen no mention of who he's interested in. The 'do not contact' probably keeps his side quiet for now.

Lamont Butler and Amari Williams led the 24/25 team, I'd say they performed well above expectations, why didn't you bring that up?

pope is handcuffing himself by not getting a bonafide star so he doesnt have to play the game where he bets on his players to do better than what they are

The fit is more important to a teams success than anything else.
It looks to me like the team being assembled right now, fits together a whole lot better than last years team did and Pope isn't done adding pieces.

We just went through 15 years of Calipari feeding the NBA draft with guys that simply had future potential.
Stokes is another one. Oh he's really good, but he's going to get drafted high, because he has massive potential.
Momcilovic is not a phenom, but what he is, is a proven piece that is already playing at, or near his ceiling.

If you're right and all the other schools eat first, then do any of them have room in their budget for this guy? I mean, if they're eating first, than they're just about done, right?
I've been as critical as anyone on this and last years' rosters. If you take Oweh off last year's roster and insert Momcilovic in, you would have a point. If Pope could get Momcilovic on this year's roster, it would be much less flawed than last year's. Not only did we not have a PG last year, we had no one that was an average ball handler for their position. Even with Momcilovic this roster is unlikely to make it to semis in SEC-T, but it would be better than last year's roster.
Stokes didn't want to be here to me that's a real good reason to prefer Mom. What are you going to get out of someone who doesn't want to be here? Dissension, poor effort.

The 24/25 team is an example of a lower talented squad doing really good things, because they fit together.
24/25 set a record for most quad 1 wins, beat the eventual national champion, beat a loaded duke team, who also went to the FF and made it to the sweet 16 without Robinson and with Butler playing with an injured shoulder.
Momcilovic had an offensive rating of 139.1 and a defensive rating of 101.3 last season. Oweh had an offensive rating of 114.3 and a defensive rating of 107. I have no interest in knocking Oweh but that is a big advantage towards Momcilovic on both sides of the ball.
I have no clue as to how realistic landing Momcilovic may be but it would be a very big addition and likely improves your team dramatically.
