Can any of our stats/analytics gurus look at this roster and predict what kind of offensive and defensive output it might produce?

I doubt there's any reliable analytics on that one. There's stuff out there that projects major league performance from minor league stats but it's not very reliable. Here we have guys moving up a level or who didn't get much run at other programs and we don't know if it was because they weren't good enough or because they were buried. Plus they may have performed one way in one system, but would perform differently in another. I used to be a professional analytics person but here I think the proof, such as it is, will be in what you see or don't see on the tape.

Hoop-explorer.com has "a very simple off-season model that isn't intended to provide "good" predictions." It has us at 13th in the conference, though the roster they have doesn't include Ghai or Gill. It also is based off this past season, so it assumes barely any minutes for Pratt and not enough for McEldon. I made some minutes adjustments to what I think is more likely to happen, and it slides us down to between 15th-17th place.

Shows us having 4 "starter-level" players, 1 "rotation-level" player and 6...not at either of those levels. Seems to think, again based on last year's stats, that our defense will be better than our offense, and that our offense will be bottom of the conference.

These are all just wild-*** guesses, way too many variables in the mix.
