Perhaps many on the left are disturbed. That would explain it, no? I've been calling it "unhinged" for a decade now.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...sturbing_reaction_to_a_would-be_assassin.html

This assassination attempt feels different.

Following the previous attempts on the president’s life, progressives briefly acknowledged that their false and ugly depiction of Donald Trump as a modern-day Hitler with a penchant for rape may have inspired the violence.

One might hope for deeper soul searching this time, considering that the would-be assassin at last Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner specifically echoed left-wing talking points about the “traitor” and “pedophile” in the White House.

Instead of experiencing a come-to-Jesus moment, progressives have denied, deflected, and explained away their complicity.

Nobody takes this right-wing pablum seriously nor do we feel the need to do deeper soul-searching when we knew re-electing him would lead to this climate. You don't get to pathologically lie about an election and try to overturn the will of the people with violence and then say the other side is the problem. The other side sounded the alarm loudly and repeatedly that re-electing him would lead to this.

We saw many in his last administration, five different generals and one of his defense secretaries warn us that he was dangerous and unfit for public office and we would regret it if we re-elected him. Generals

Multiple books written by insiders, mental health professionals and investigative reporters warned us that he was mentally and emotionally unfit and it would lead to great damage if he were to be re-elected again. Books

But you didn't give a sh*t

Now that he's proven what we all knew, you blame us rather than the guy who calls us vermin, scum, the enemy within, the guy who mocked an old man who had his skull cracked open because of HIS lies, the guy who claimed Reiner was murdered because of TDS, the guy who said he was glad Mueller was dead, the guy who said after hearing that Biden's prostate cancer had spread to his bones that he didn't feel sorry for him because he was a mean SOB and the guy who said on stage at Charlie's memorial service that he hated us and didn't want the best for us.

A normal person would absorb the above and understand that HE is the crux of the problem, not the people reacting to his venom, but not you, oh no, he can't be blamed for any of it because you love him so, despite his despicable behavior.

As long as you love and support him because of the way he treats those that you don't like, you don't get to say sh*t because YOU are the problem, not us.

No need to respond with your shallow, non-intellectual, all caps screeching because we don't respect you until YOU do some deep soul searching and have your own come to Jesus moment.

You have fvcked around and now you will find out in November. :devilish:

You are complicit. Evidently, you knew that him winning would bring out your complicity.

This assassination attempt did feel different to me. It honestly felt like just another news day. Trump downplayed it himself so maybe that is part of it. The Iran war has sucked all of the oxygen out of the room for me.

It wasn't staged but they knew it was going to happen and decided to use it to push for the ballroom

Tucker has been right on. Hell I heard Ann Coulture ripping Trump because of this war. Are they not Republicans? Have we all just turned to Liberals?
The list keeps growing:

Megyn Kelly
Alex Jones
Marjorie Taylor-Greene
Candace Owens
Nick Fuentes
Andrew Schultz

Hot/Cold
Joe Rogan
Rob Schneider

this disingenuous phrase really undermined the credibility of the piece:

… Trump also spews violent rhetoric. Fair enough. His nasty language and memes are a plague. But where most Republican leaders routinely, though ineffectually, condemn his sallies

i see far more supporting trump and deflecting on his behalf from elected repubs than condemning.

Says the fanatical jackbooted zealot that ardently supports the cruelty that Dear Leader heaps upon those who don't glorify him like a deity. You don't get to say sh*t because you did this.

As an enemy of the state, it won't be long before we'll need to look into taking away your voting rights and sending you to a re-education camp....or would a concentration camp be better? 🤔

Decisions, Decisions

Could this be @RoyalT12 (aka Bob), the guy who wanted to fight the internet from the King of Prussia mall on a Friday night?

You could do better than that. Think of the smartest person you know. The one who told all of you nuts that the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq were fool's errands. How many people on message boards know you are a poor salesman living in a dump in the wilds of Michigan.

You aren't dead yet? LOL...

"Twit" actually gave it away. I wish I could recall the story of how your dad got you a cushy gubmint job in the Dept of Nothing because you couldn't make it in the private sector.

Seems like you moved to Iowa. lol...
