Overall a very good athlete. He is expected to be a solid 4 star by the end of the cycle. Hopefully with 2 spots filled we see Taylor commit soon. That would be the best WR haul in quite some time at PSU.
At an 89 rating on 247 he is already pushing 4 star status. I thinkl he is a very solid recruit and with much better coaching than the previous regime he should be good for us. A 10.9 100 is not blazing speed by any means but will suffice. His height will be an asset and he should be 200 lbs by the time he starts seeing the field.

He is an excellent bball player as well. Like you said, an 89 rating is practically 4 star.

Offer the player who caught him too!
Isn't that how Pitt found Hugh Green. They were evaluating tape on Rooster Jones, and they kept seeing this other player making plays all over the field. Jones turned out to be a decent running back for Pitt and Green is in the Hall of Fame.

Could be. Jones's Pascagoula HS played Green's then North Natchez HS twice in their senior year, 1976. But Green was the Mississippi Defensive POY and a top 25 recruit, so he was not an obscure talent.

Until they sign on the dotted line, they are not a commit. And then when the transfer portal opens, they may be an ex-commit. I don’t get too excited about who is going to be on the team, or currently on the team anymore because they could be gone tomorrow. It seems like college players have less staying power than NFL players in the current NIL/Portal situation. I’m just going to root for those playing for the team during the current season and know it could all change drastically for the next season.
