I've read he isn't eligible and he's 100 percent eligible today on twitter.

I really hope you’re right. This guy’s game appears PERFECT for what our current roster most needs. And he’d instantly be the best shooter and best NBA prospect on our roster.
But I’ve learned not to get my hopes up.
I think it’s 50/50 he takes the college route. Several schools have been in contact with him. We first made contact with him in January and again 2 weeks ago. Big U18 tournament coming up starting this weekend and I look for Pope to hopefully be there along with other big name coaches. He may not go to college because he’s a lock top 10 pick already and if he comes and underperforms could drop. College would make him the most money though and we have the most left to spend so there’s always a chance. I’d love to see it but my faith in our staff making the right play and closing is slim. He would be a huge get, bigger than Juke Harris, or Mcneil. Those guys are late first rounder second round prospects this guy is legit top 5 and still growing. He’s young though, and if I remember right his birthday isn’t until October or November.
Gents, Stefan has very high basketball IQ and skills. He is extremely confident player. At adidas next gen he scored 38 pts and 10 rebounds. Duke got a “spanish” player from Barca that is only 17, Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje choosing Duke over North Carolina. The Duke player is 7ft and played against Stefan at let me tell you , Stefan is a baller.
This guy on the wing will pair excellent with our guards but also with our bigs.
Since we missed on Slim Jesus , and Stokes, this guy is a must. He will be a star in NBA.
Other schools are moving on him so Pope needs to be fast and bring the cash and vision for UK as his best step for NBA.
Stefan Is a lefty, we know Pope has on offense for that, but in all seriousness, he followed the same steps like Luka Donkic, youngest EUROLEAGUE PLAYER, played for Slovenia national youth, senior debut at 16, he is your modern wing frame, tall, long wingspan, big hands.
he is also a court front forward creator type like Luka -type, good floor runner, solid acceleration, great lateral mobility.
He will need more mass and balance but that’s normal conside his age.
I would say Pope bring him in.

I never wanted Stokes. I dont know him personally or his family. But I do have a good friend that does know the family really well. The Mom cares enough about him that she was doing everything she could to keep him out of the Louisville hood and the problems there. He has alot of friends there that are into some stuff she did not want him being a part of. That actually could have been more of a factor him being closer to Louisville than she wanted him to be. I just could see him not getting his way and him setting the whole season out, taking his bag of money and going to the NBA. He is probably going to be a great pro, his body and game are built for that. we will see how good of a system guy he is at Kansas.
I'd be willing to bet 95% of other posters would disagree.

The fatal flaw with this board, pretty much all of the internet, is the inability to shut down obvious trolls and troublemakers. They just keep coming back with new accounts. Like weeds in the spring.
