The Fever were up big early (at least 13 pts), but it has been all NY since. Clark has played quite a bit. She made her first couple shots, but nothing since. She's playing ok. It's her first real action since last July. It's just a warm-up game for everyone, plus no Boston or Hull. Sophie is shooting well.

Caitlin started off making her first two shots, but outside of a couple of free throws I don't think she's scored since.

Caitlin with very poor shooting, frankly. Was 2-10 from the floor and 1-5 from the arc. Just one game, pre-season at that, but just hoping she avoids another shooting slump.

I liked that little Timmons, played with a lot of energy. For the Liberty I don't know how Han Xu doesn't see a lot of minutes this year. Can shoot well and is a nightmare on defense. Was blocking shots with her forearm, lol.

Soooo ... we couldn't even get to the first pre-season game without a significant amount of injuries. Boston, Hull, and Harris out today with injuries, and Dantes will no-show due to travel/visa problems. What the actual fug?

There's always lots of injuries in the W, unfortunately.
They said if this was a regular season game Boston and Lexi would have been available. Bostons been practicing. I think they just want to figure out who the last 3 players are going to be on the roster. They have cuts to make in the next week so, and they've only had 5 practices, and the season opens in two weeks.

It was wonderful seeing Caitlin and Raven having a nice laugh together towards the end of the game, I tell you, based on what has been reported here a several days ago, I haven't slept a wink worrying about whether or not they could get along.

Didn't she just play in the FIBA qualifying tournament in March? She was MVP of the tournament and played a lot. So not her first real action since last July.

Picking up right where she left off.
17 minutes
7 points
4 assists
3 rebounds

Not a good night shooting but basically another double-double in a normal regular season game with Boston available and a settled roster.

Any analysis of Clark is incomplete without taking into account her assists and game management. If healthy, I predict she will again break the WNBA season assist record. The shooting will be there some games, sometimes not. When it’s there she could go for 40+.

This. She played less then half the game, and with a mix matched lineup. No Boston and no Lexie.

It's just a pre-season game, but holy smokes, this may be the worst quarter I've ever seen a WNBA team play. Meanwhile, the Wings are super sharp.

Watch Sophie - she's still limping from last season's injury. She can't guard Paige. So SW switched Kelsey onto her - WTF. Let Raven have a crack at her.
That injury was a long time ago. It would really suck if it's going to linger this season.
