Yall got some good skill guys returning along with 2 really good defensive players the de and lb.
I haven't seen any practices or kids lately but defense is not a worry for next year I feel like our defense could be lights out. All the kids don't defense will be bigger and stronger I feel like defensive front will be a force. Offense is going to be okay just going to have to work harder

I just dropped my pup off in Maiden, for grooming. I cant put my finger on any specifics, but it feels luke they are up to something as soon as you pass the golf course, and enter Devil air space.
It’s little wonder that any of us would feel apprehensive about going through there, with their welcoming town limits signs… the only place they’ve got them are the main roads coming from Lincolnton.

We take our dogs to Daisy barn grooming in maiden but vet we go to animal hospital Newton
It’s good that people take better care of their animals. As a kid I’d never heard the word grooming. On the television you’d see pet owners in Beverly Hills or in a penthouse on the upper east side of Manhattan have their poodles whose fur had been trimmed into a design.

Here’s my most recent pet. That’s me giving it a taste of honey that’s on the end of a bread tie. Hard to believe something like a wasp is able to reason. They love sweet stuff, and sometimes before I give it a treat it gets excited and hops around on its nest a little.

@amaidendevil and @GrizzlyDevil have been way too quiet. They must be working over time for a new QB NIL package.
You can't count your chickens before your eggs hatch....especially if you're sitting in a cart that's in front of the horse...that won't drink the water it's been lead to.. probably because it was rode too hard and put up wet.

Know what I mean? I'm sure @Lincolnton understands

Also, we've yet to hear back on the price of eggs in China...due diligence can be cumbersome this time of year.

Saw where Hickory and Newton-Conove City Schools would now become part of the Catawba County Schools system by a vote of 3-2…Think they said it begins in 2028.
The pros and cons of consolidating sounded sensible, both ways, but it also it had a typical ring to it.

Something that did jump out is when those in favor talked about how consolidation would alleviate overcrowding in the county schools, and make use of unused facilities due to loss of enrollment in the city schools.

Does this mean for instance, if Bandys is overcrowded might they have to cede some students to Bunker Hill, or even Maiden? Then again, if Newton-Conover’s is down, might Maiden have to give up some students to them. This might be interesting to see. Just saying.

PostScript: By the way, this was decided about 10 days ago. I’d heard it was going to be put to a vote but I forgot to keep up with it, until today.

Good luck to Hickory and Newton-Conover…If you get my drift.

Technically it's not over yet it's still got to be passed by the State board of education and if that happens I've heard hickory and Newton already have lawsuits planned. Ultimately a lot of this comes down to bandy's of being overcrowded. So they will take the biggest front of this by getting carved up. I'm sure St Stephen's will lose some kids to hickory hickory Macy and some kids to Ford. If I had to guess Maiden may lose their Northern edge that borders Newton. But will probably get a good chunk of bandy's around 16 and 150. Since we are not at capacity the parts of bandy's that borders Newton highway 16 Mount Olive Church road those area will probably go to Newton. .

Got an interesting fact kind of surprised me. 31 schools in North Carolina don't field baseball team. Just notable 7A Knightdale doesn't have one. 5A Monroe and 4A Carver also don't have baseball teams just find that odd
Carver also does not have softball

For the sake of eductaionin Catawba County, don't hold you breath or read the tight wads opinions on why they voted for this. The state will have the final decision and hopefully negate this stupid one.

The current culture around baseball and softball with travel, etc. is creating some of the deepest talent levels while at the same time some of the thinnest overall numbers. The upper 1/3 to 1/2 is playing at a much higher level but it’s coming at the cost of less players sticking with the sport overall. Those sports are quickly becoming the haves and the have-nots in the high school world.

Out of 8 schools in Pisgah’s conference, 3 have a JV softball program and one of those schools that doesn’t is Franklin, which has very rich softball culture.

Seem like a lotta people wanted Notre dame
I can't remember the list of final teams. I was talking to a buddy and was discussing the merits of Dollar list and he wanted him to go Miami because of their strong reputation of producing NFL caliber tight ends plus he is a fan of the U. I was like Brock Browers and Michael Mayer did okay for themselves at Georgia and Notre Dame.

Maybe he didn't want to take theology courses which is the requirement that Notre Dame. I feel like they used to mandate Mass attendance but I I know they removed that requirement

If Dollar spent any time in the church then Mass is probably a walk in the park. I remember no practice on Wednesdays or short practices because that was for Wednesday services. When I was growing up by the time church let out and I got home Brent and Irv were discussing the first half of the Redskins game.
