As a father, I would never want my son to comport himself in what I’ve witnessed with this kid’s recruitment and demeanor, there are a lot more important things in life than money and fame, unfortunately many in this current generation, it’s all they seek. Translation: I'm an adult on the internet having a fit because a teen didn't commit to the school I wanted him to commit to. As an adult, I feel it my duty to now bash this former recruit and blame an entire generation of young people because I didn't like how one young man's recruitment went. I would likely act differently and possibly more mature had he chosen the school I wanted him to choose but he did not so now I must make this personal and a generational issue.

We passed on C Holt for this chump. Bad mistake. I tend to agree. Last year that kid at Kansas pretty much played when he wanted. That punk was never coming here. All these mistakes are adding up and taking their toll on the program. Whole thing reeks of coaching malpractice. Is there any one thing this clown has done right since he got here?

I think those that are happy Kentucky didn't get the number one recruit in college basketball are delusional and on a heavy dose of copium. He might have had a huge detrimental effect on Kentucky's recruitment this year and you might reasonably wish we hadn't gone after him so hard but if you are genuinely pleased with him choosing Kansas over Kentucky yesterday you are delusional. Kentucky next year is a worse team because Stokes is not playing for us.

Stokes may turn out to be really good, but there are too many question marks. He's a good athlete (but not great) with an NBA body who handles the ball well, but he's not a sure thing. We'll see what Kandidas gets once Stokes can't just overpower everyone and get to the rim (because he's not LeBron or Zion Williamson so that's not always going to work). Stokes would have been no better than 5th in last year's class, definitely behind Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer, and Wilson.

Momcilovic is a proven college player with a proven elite skill. He's probably being overpaid, but that also would have happened with Stokes. And Momcilovic gives Mark Pope no real excuse. UK poached the top scorer from a top 10 team, so if the 26-27 roster isn't enough for Pope to have a top 10 team that challenges for a conference title and is a legit FF contender, then he simply isn't the guy.
