Fried Bright Leaf bologna, baby reds mashed potatoes, crowder peas, unsweetened iced tea, Turkey Hill vanilla ice cream topped with honey. Love the way the honey hardens on top.

Salad fixin’s from Harris Teeter over spring mixed greens with Girard’s champagne dressing. Very nice and maybe a little too healthy so I had a Hersey’s chocolate bar for dessert.

Don't feel up to cooking tonight. Keeping it simple. Tuna Helper. Tuna creamy broccoli topped with grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to give it a kick, unsweetened iced tea, and a couple of Hershey's miniatures.

For tonight I am cooking in the slow cooker, honey-seared pork tenderloin. A 2 1/2 pound pork tenderloin cooked with 2/3 cup of honey, 2 Tbls of brown sugar, 4 Tbls soy sauce, 3 Tbls of sesame oil and 4 Tbls of balsamic vinegar, cook on low for 2 hours flip and cook for 2 more hours on low. It's roughly 30 minutes per 1/2 pound. Boiled mini round potatoes with butter and cheddar cheese, green bean casserole, unsweetened iced tea, and some frosted animal cookies.

Made a change. Had broccoli pasta instead of green bean casserole and instead of cookies had my wife's delicious homemade hot peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. I prefer blueberry but she loves peach.

My stomach is out of whack. I think I dove back into my main meals too quick. I had creamy chicken dumping soup last night and unsweetened tea. That was it. I'll see how I feel tonight before fixing supper.

I see you have some yellow tomatoes in the top pic. I love those and the small yellow bell tomatoes in salads. They're just hard to find. Where did you find yours?
They're great, but I agree I cant always find them. These were just part of a mixed pack at Kroger though. I think under the "sugar bomb" label

I think its the best fish sandwich out there and you have a choice of crispy or Cajun. You get 2 for 7 bucks and they are huge. I make one sandwich out of the 2. The fish hangs out of the bun in every direction. Big piece of fish and good flavor as well. I've only had Popeye's once. An Arbys is 5 miles from my house. Popeye's and Bojangle's both quite a distance away. McDonald's fish is a joke. About the size of a post it note for over 5 bucks? No thanks.
I've now tried Popeyes and Arby's fish sandwiches. I think the Popeyes one had too thick of a breading and too little fish. The Arby's one was much better. I liked the Kings Hawaiian version, but didn't like the cheese or tomato on it.

I like the Arby's one. Never tried the Bojangles one. Every time I've ever ordered one they say they are out of them.

Sauteed shrimp with orzo, artichoke hearts, spinach, sundried tomatoes, and capers. One pan meal in about 30 minutes. I didn’t have heavy cream so used half and half and have to cook it down some to thicken image.jpg

Baby back ribs. The cook was great, but I really need to work on the rub. Everything out there has sugar in it.

Deli sliced turkey and American cheese on a toasted and buttered croissant with a little Duke’s mayo and some Grillo’s dill pickle chips. I’m eyeballing some salted caramel vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Since my wife had major oral surgery this morning I won't be cooking, so it looks like I will have a frozen dinner, a mashed potato bowl, unsweetened iced tea, and a chocolate mint I got from the surgeon's office. lol And a few iced oatmeal cookies.

Prayers for your wife. And for you.

I had cheese, crackers, and finished off the salami. Good stuff. Some ice cream after.

Tonight will be a roast, onion and carrots cooked all day in the crockpot with mashed potatoes, collards, fried okra and squash. A nice buttered yeast roll to go with that.
