I don’t usually so this but I’ll put it out there.

Pope will miss on the first batch of recruits and transfers and load up with 2nd tier players by next weekend.

Rinse repeat last season more or less.

Love to be wrong on this one but I’ve seen nothing to make me think otherwise.

It looks better today than it did yesterday anyway so that’s something. At least he’s going to hear them out and no doubt see a nice big counter offer. Hope we get it done Monday while he’s in Lexington. Would be great if Mom could come with him to.

Same as last year will miss on the 1st choice for every position and land the leftovers after other Bluebloods have cleaned the portal.

You just have to make it through Wednesday without any more targets committing else where we will kno what stokes is doing by then

This will be Pope’s best team because of its’s depth. Yes there are no JQ’s or OO’s but I see this team being better than the Year 1 team because of the sheer unknowns about their potential. Pope could sub platoon style & give everyone a chance to shine.
Pope is going nowhere for 2 yrs at $6million per. He’s got the Jet & AD support
Plus 12 rich young Players who want to prove the TALKING HEADS wrong.

Another one we'll revisit when we don't make the NCAA tournament next year.... One quick question what's our HS recruiting ranked? We need to have a good mixture of both plus good retention.

This thread wasn’t about HS recruiting. It was about the portal. Then it’s bumped to prove he was right. We have the 12th best class, so I’m just posting the facts not the opinion of someone.

Well, ain't that swell!

Now compare what Duke has coming to us. After that, compare Duke's HS recruiting class to ours.

Once you've done those things, my suggestion would be to enroll in grief counseling.

12th best class is not good enough. And when it plays out next season, re-rank and let’s see where it stands. I’m not optimistic.

I agree with that completely. No recruits and the 12th best portal class isn’t good enough for Kentucky. But to say we got nobody blah blah blah just to be negative is also not true. We have a better portal haul than all but 11 teams in the nation. It’s not like we just sh*t the bed, and I’m tired of everyone spinning that narrative. It’s nauseating and simply false. Sure we aren’t where we wish we were but we didn’t flop in the portal plain and simple.
