I have written several diatribes about California and Virginia disenfranchising voters with their gerrymandering. I don't know all the details of Florida, Louisiana, and possibly Texas doing their version but I'm hoping the Republican presidential candidate in 2028 has part of his/her platform establishing fair rules for apportioning districts in all 50 states (looking at you Illinois). It probably would balance out among the parties and we need our kids and grandkids to have faith in our elections. A plus would be passing the SAVE Act.
