Looks more skilled than Diabate but looks like he wants to roam the perimeter instead fight inside.
My mom is more skilled than Dioubate. However, Mo D has a ******* motor and will carve this guy up and eat his *** up on a platter on the boards. Not Mo's fault our genius staff wanted him to shoot 3s and dribble drive from the wing.

As Einstein said, "if you judge a human being on their ability to climb a tree, they would be stupider than monkeys".

😂😂😂 Pope is being made fun of across the world now.

I'll wrap up the Avdija season soon, but this is an event worth lingering on a bit.

Santos will celebrate his 24th birthday next November and is set to receive a particularly tempting offer from a very desperate university. If he can indeed play there (and that's likely the case), he will be the second player this season alone to make the transition from EuroLeague minutes to college.

It’s sad, really. My son is an exceptional soccer player. But the majority of scholarship players at D1 and D2 are international. It’s happening across all sports, and American born athletes have a major disadvantage. Especially when the sport is not pay to play in most other countries like it is in the States.

This is such ********. This is the easiest slam dunk Amendment of all time. Get Congress to establish that college is for amateur athletes only, and you can't get paid or receive any benefits other than free schooling and full room and board, and one transfer. If you want to be a pro... go be a pro somewhere else.

I suggest u watch the tape on Marcio before dismissing him. He'll play the top of the key (big man) facilitating role. He passes extremely well and shoots it good enough to keep defenses honest.
Santos is physical for his size and could help the roster.

Rainmaker I personally like Santos potential fit in Pope's offense. What say you?
Definitely can play the Amari type role but shorter. Big body and a great shooting touch. For the majority of the fan base they see a trash foreign guy but he could likely start for us and be better than he will get credit for. I agree he won’t be our star player but easily could be 12/7 average for the season and hit the 3.

If he played college last season and was in the portal he’d be ranked top 100.

Pope is wasting time and money with this guy. I’m certain pope would like to go to Israel. He would like to have a nice vacation. I’m sure he ll visit the western wall and enjoy his time. He should be in the USA. He should be recruiting where the majority of players reside. The man isn’t recruiting a player worth the time and money to go to Israel. Even in Europe pope can visit several players in a day if he wants. In Israel it’s this one guy. You can’t find an enforcer in the USA?? I’m sick of this crap with pope. He can’t do one normal thing. It would be different if the guy were some stud player. This guy is diamond a dozen in United States. You can find one like him in Jr. college. Hey Mark have a nice vacation, buddy. I mean Israel’s in the middle of a pretty -massive war. And our coach flies right into the center of it for a guy who just tries to rip the rim off every time.

don't get me wrong, we need big bodies. If he needs to fly all the way Israel to close this out, then that says more to where UK is currently at. If I had to garner a guess, I would imagine very few coaches have to fly 3000 miles to close on a backup.

I disagree with this, unfortunately. Pope is running out of dudes who want to play for him in the US. There's probably more, good, old, available, and most importantly, not aware of how crappy Pope is talent in Europe.

He’s going to Israel, not Europe. I know it’s four hour flight whatever from Europe wherever you’re at in Europe, I agree with you go spend a week in Europe recruiting. Flying directly to Israel without stopping in Europe to see some other players seems defeatist and sketchy

This can’t be real. Someone is ******* with us.

Things are pretty desperate when you have to travel to a war torn country, in a middle of a material military conflict, to complete your roster with a non “game changing” recruit.

Who in administration approved this trip now?

Assuming true, I have seen enough.

The wheels have totally fallen off the wagon at UK……..

This is a really good post.

What in the hell is the administration thinking?

Oh wait, our AD has one foot out the door and is furious with the fans for losing out on his $4M no show job.

And our president is the same clown who signed off on all this crap.

3 Rebounds. Offer him $333,333 for each rebound.
Subtract for the 4 fouls 0-2 shooting and 0-4 from the line. He is playing against a ton of 27-35 year olds though.

Maybe Santos playing vs. 18-21 years olds will flip the script. Because of my late summer b-day I always had to stay behind a year in promotion among the Little League baseball levels. Those seasons I would dominate being the "old kid", then the next season following promotion I would return to being a "defensive catcher" (could not hit). Hope the same is true for Santos if he signs.

At very minimum it is a liability risk.

For my business I have shut down all professional travel to Middle East region for next 60 days (regardless of travel and embassy advisory).

I must be missing something.
