Ya idk the actual percentage, but they’ve gone up a lot in a very short amount of time. You’re just doing your usual dumbass schtick. I dropped my tix because i didn’t feel like paying that much for a few good home duals, id imagine im not the only one.
Now carry on being a dick like always

And you thought “hey, I could just say my bad but the point stands.” But instead you called me a dumbass (For being right) and blamed it on me. That’s special.

I think Spooner is jacked up 30% more every year... Or maybe just somewhat more... or maybe just a little more. Or maybe more by some number I just made up. But certainly more. To follow Slim's illogical context.

Could also see Sealy and maybe some others from psu get in, if they would rather have a college career rather then being back ups... Davis or Howard (probably depends on Ono plans) , seems like the one Marisola brother is good with just backing up Barr

Howard retired from wrestling a while ago due to injuries.

Free is very different from Folk. But I'd take Sealy in a second.

And the #1 portal guy is probably Robinson. Former champ, 2 years left, no rap sheet. Him or Crookham are portal1 IMO.
Sealy may have more of a chance at breaking their lineup at 157 than we thought with his performance at us open and Kasak getting another head injury.

Sealey's losses say he isn't special.

But he also isn't getting those big time matches that allow you to make jumps. If he stays, would be cool to see if he could pull a Whitmer.

Not sure how "special" is defined but he did handle a R12 and a R16 guy last year. Though there was the loss to a Harvard guy who went 1-2 at NCAAs. Fairly good effort for a RS frosh who wasn't in the regular lineup, IMHO.

I would have to give the nod to Robinson by a fairly wide margin.

Crookham's season ending injury history and the possibility that he might not wrestle the entire season next year are the determining factors.

Hopefully he is fully healed and wrestling well when it matters. Losing significant time on the mat two years is a row is a significant hurdle.

We all know what "special" means. Finalist.

But yes. Kid showed out at the Open. Freestyle is his best style, but I think this shows how important competition is.

So, last day to enter portal. Not seeing much action since the open finished.

Nope, and I am not sure what the thinking was behind those on here that thought there would be a flurry of activity after the open.

There will probably be a few that will enter at the last minute, but not the rush that some were expecting. I just don't see what the advantage is to entering the portal later than earlier.

I think the idea of waiting is when an athlete has a school in mind and waiting to know the weight will be open on said school roster.

The thought process is that guys who plan to participate in the open and try to make a world team want to spend the time leading up to the event training. They don't want to be looking for a new club during the runup to a lot of these guys' biggest freestyle event of the year. Once the open is done is when the real offseason starts for them, and they are ready to have a longer search for a new program.

Ok, thanks - that makes some sense.

The downside of waiting is that there are some of the better spots that are already "taken" by other wrestlers (Zepeda, Crookham, Geog, Berge, Fugitt, etc.) I guess everyone has to make a plan that works for them.

Will be interesting to see how many more head to the portal in the next 12 hours.

...Come on now. What have you seen that would tell you this? Because sealy beating out Kasak is entirely dependent on Kasak not being 100%. This seems wild to me.
Agreed. That is a WILD statement to make. Kasak is a million times better folk wrestler than Sealey. He dang sure doesn't take losses to Harvard guys.

Health is going to be everything for Kasak. Hope he can right the ship.

You know how this works. You go out hunting with some PSU guys, PSU and Iowa rosters and coaching and wrestlers comes up, and questions get asked back and forth. Of course no need, but it's interesting. And the fact that to a person they think Kasak is better is conversational. They know a lot more about the PSU roster and wrestlers than I do. It's all good source of information.
