The right reason to go to Europe is because there’s a great player there you have to have. Were there because we can’t get anyone here. Don’t do it to yourselves and talk yourself into this. It’s going to fail.
I agree, its really sad to see what this once great program has been reduced to. I don't believe anyone feels we are a title contender and now we are debating whether we will win 15 games or simply be mediocre. The program has truly fallen on horrible times.Pope is a loser recruiter. He is desperate and trying to win the lottery.
Next year’s team will be lucky to win 15 games.
We are a total joke of a program
Don't worry, nobody good from Europe or Asia will come either. He'll get the 3rd tier guys like he does in America.Israel isn't in Europe.
These guys probably don't speak English well so Popes dorkiness doesn't come across as well.
negative fans it's one thing mark is bad at recruiting freshmen. we got a total takeover of nerds all trying to bully mark pope. the dude we signed from overseas played against dudes better than people in the sec. pope is recruiting wrong types,me first types who will continue to spurn him. jackass fans though on this board and bandwagon fans give us a bad look. you can't wait and see you just assume. we got lots of bandwagon fans like UConn or duke does maybe they won't watch no more. maybe will just keep saying poop and dork and same ****. as long as they are a part of a mob who cares.I agree, I'm coming here hoping to find something to cling to but I'm really considering just sitting out from watching Kentucky basketball next year. I don't believe watching the games next year will be a net positive for me compared to the work I can get done around the house and spending time with family.I haven't felt this bad about an upcoming season since Pitinos first season which we went 14-14 with a bunch of nobodies but at least there was hope...There is no hope with this clown and knowing what's coming is the worst part.
How about some truth -- they all SUCK, except Moreno, possibly Hawthorne, POSSIBLY (and it's a big stretch) Wilkins.Narcissistic “Fans” dumping on Moreno, Hawthorne, Diallo, Wilkins, McBride, etc.

Your wrong. These players are from all over the world and most are x American players but many won’t ever get a chance at the nbaThe right reason to go to Europe is because there’s a great player there you have to have. It is because of Morons like you bashing everything everywhere. Good luck working at Cracker Barrel. The right reason to go to Europe is because there’s a great player there you have to have. The tweet was last year and if you use 247 composite he's right.OK I just fact-checked CatPhright's #1 nerd Keegan Brown and his claim of 1 title team since 2019 having a top 30 player. The below are based on RSCI HS rankings.
First observation -- Brown is wrong (shocking, for this staff, I know). 3 title teams had RSCI top 30 guys (not 1).
Second observation -- whether the talent was there from HS or not, title teams needed 3+ NBA players to win, preferably 5+, as the recent UConn and Mich teams are going to be sending
Note that the teams with the least HS talent (UF, Baylor) STILL produced multiple NBA players.
If you expand this to the FF, other than just title teams, the HS and NBA talent spikes up astronomically.
TLDR -- Keegan Brown and this staff are shitheads and can go **** themselves and die.

David Mirkovic at Illinois and Thijs De Ridder at Virginia this past year are probably the two who would immediately qualify in my mind. It hasn’t been very common historically between the best Euro players going to the NBA instead of college and the NCAA only really opening the floodgates in approving players with high level pro experience within the past couple of years.Have there been any euro guys who have come over here and had a huge impact year 1? Seems like anytime UK gets them, it’s a complete bust.

Fair -- McCormack was 30 in RSCI but 36 in 247 composite. If going by 247 composite, then it's 1 team from 2019- 2025. Sure. The tweet was last year and if you use 247 composite he's right.
