Im talking about the guys we're about to sign to fill out a roster.

Also if you pumpers really think a guy no one saw or heard of is the next big thing well ... congratulations... Prince of Nigeria has a fortune he needs you to hold for him
Just because you are ignorant of him does not equal no one has ever heard of him.

Good Lord, some of these takes are SO ignorant. He ain’t slow or clunky. Instead, this kid is a big time prospect being projected as a potential lottery pick in next year’s draft.

It’s fine to be mad at Pope right now for whiffing on Stokes, but not wanting want him to recruit this kid is just being idiotic.
It could be Luka Doncic's clone and it would still be...Stokes....we need Stokes....
If we are UK, we don't sit around wishing we were KU

If this is the answer then Pope should have paid Chandler, at least he knows the speed and physical play of the SEC. Pope is trying to bring yet another player who may not get here till school starts.
Just roll with what he has since it’s his last season here anyway… plus the good players will get to play more than twenty minutes a game
Good Lord..I love Chandler as anyone on here who knows me knows, but Chandler over this kid? Thats like saying Kam over Stokes lol

Majority absolutely and trashing Joksimovic is wild to me. For legitimately no reason other than you are mad about Stokes…. Like I said to each their own.
I haven’t seen anyone trashing him other than the one person in here talking about the Lexington YMCA but that’s just stupidity.

The whole point of my post wasn't about this guy, because i have zero confidence we can get him. After what we saw from pope the last two cycles, who has any faith we're going to land anyone impactful?

Its about the random Euro guy we'll actually end up with.

You realize he is 17 and plays in Spanish Liga right? It’s the best or second best league in Europe and is a much higher level of competition than the SEC.

He is also 6’7 and still growing now. A lot of the highlights are from when he was 15-16 and he has grown from 6’4 to 6’7.
I try to be optimistic on all these players. But there was almost no defense being played in that video. And didn't show him shoot a single jumper where his defender wasn't in another time zone.

No idea. IMO there’s room for one more star role on the roster. This kid is perceived to be uber talented. One difference with him is he’s very young. Won’t turn 18 until after the season starts. Compare that to the Saliou Niang name that Fran Fraschilla brought up today that turns 22 in a few weeks.

Stefan feels like the “talent” swing for the fences in Europe compared to maybe more experienced guys over there between 21-23

Someone may have said it already, but if he's that young, won't he have to play 2 years in college to be age eligible for the NBA? So, IF he ends up being a star, he would be a 2 year player, right?

Now how would you know whether or not he's "still growing"? Do you work with him too? You his doctor? Good you just throw **** against the wall

That’s what you want to spread the floor. This team needs to have players that are quick and can make the fast break the offense. There was very few set plays in 96. The press was an easy basket machine..

We are basically out of options for top transfers and running out of international options, so what's next? JUCO? NAIA?

If close to accurate, all this sounds good to me....

The 6-7 lefty is one of the top prospects in the 2008 generation and has elite upside ability. He’s a scoring fiend with awesome offensive talents.

Joksimovic is a big point/forward type with a high feel for the game and a nice shooting stroke. He can play on or off the ball and does a really nice job of getting his offense within the flow of the game.

Is a true dribble/pass/shoot player with good size and athleticism.

Sees the floor well and can initiate the offense, collapse the defense with the dribble and find open shooters and cutters. Plays with his head up and shows legit lead guard skills.

Plays above the rim with ease, has good length and is an effortless leaper. Is a very fluid athlete with broad shoulders plenty of strength and room to fill out.

He’s a major talent who is easily one of the top prospects in his generation and could be a very high pick whenever he decides to enter the draft.

Areas of improvement include adding strength, improving his defensive awareness and continuing to work on his jumper. He does have a bit of a hitch in his jumper, which could be worked out, and he needs to speed up his shot.

Pope, don't wiff please!
Why is the NBA Draft Room working up an analysis of a hack who cannot score at the local Y??? Odd.
