Unless you can see the future that is just your opinion. If you would be willing to totally sabotage our program this upcoming season in order to realize your dream of firing the coach just be honest enough to come out and say so.

If you are correct he is most likely gone and I have said I'm fine with that if that is what the new A.D. decides. Would you rather we have a very good season and he remains as coach or would you rather fail and fire him?
You must know better than this. It is all but certain he will be our head coach this upcoming season and I have no control over that. The only thing I am truly accepting is the reality of the situation. Just have some guts and express which outcome I presented is preferable to you.

The sad part is I don’t think some of these guys (a very small number) are paying close enough attention to recruiting. Popes missed on so many guys, that they really would be worried if they realized how bad it is.

I think it’s impressive we’ve won across every era: when the jump shot was new, when the shot clock was new, when the 3 was new, one-and-done era. Just because the 40s game was different doesn’t mean the tournament was lesser. We were the outright best teams for those 4-5 years.
There was nothing obtuse about that hypothetical. You finally had the guts to give an honest answer but it made you so butthurt to do so that you had to throw in the name calling.
I want UK basketball to succeed as soon as possible. Since Pope is all but guaranteed to be the coach this upcoming season I am in full support of him doing as well as humanly possible and if that is enough to save his job I am absolutely fine with that. I want to be successful whether the coach is Pope or someone else. You seem to only be willing to succeed if it is someone else.

I will not root against the Cats to get rid of Pope. The success of the team will determine that.
I never said it hurt. I was just pointing out that it made you look childish. It was pretty obvious that I wanted you to admit that you would be willing to completely tank our season, if you had the power , in your obsessive quest to fire our coach. I wasn't asking if you believed in Pope. The answer to that has long been blatantly obvious.

It started out as a legitimate question but you insisted on playing the fool and trying to dodge just being honest. We might have a bad season which you are rooting for or we might have a good season which I will be rooting for. Time will tell and the chips will fall where they may.
