French is definitely a guy who needs to learn how to hit weak grounders the other way or bunt for a hit if they’re going to shift him
Especially if they shift him. He is not going to hit many HRs..

He’s available, unsure if he’ll pitch, thinks it would be good practice for if he has to pitch in relief in a regional or Omaha.
Kid has good stuff, a lot like most of those kids at coastal.. long, whips like arm, big breaking ball.. projectable stuff. He’s going to be really good
He’s made some really good pitches in hitters counts when it looked like we had a chance to get after him.
It can’t be said enough how unbelievable it is to have Caden Glauber and Walker McDuffie in the same bullpen. 2 guys that would be Fridays guys on most staffs in the country, both guys can give long relief, close games, you can stack them.. just endless possibilities with those two. We’re lucky.

Hynek - 4-3 on slow roller...Coastal's middle infield has some slick fielders
French - bunt single ....catcher can't bare hand it and make play....
Schaffner - bullet back to the mound....Parker catches it and French doubled off.....big time reaction and catch

It’s really good but I’m not sure who’s available. Their All-American starter came back Sunday from being out 2+ months and only threw 2 innings so the bullpen had to cover a lot of innings
Owen Hull tries for the over the shoulder grab, ball takes the last second little whip action and Coastal has a man on second with one out in the top of the sixth
Not the best jump, but that baseball was smoked
