His shooting numbers reallllly concern me from his first two years playing college ball. The whole sell with him is his size and shooting…if the shooting doesn’t carry over from last year this is a really weak pickup

Nobody is going to blame that kid but it’s a crap plan to have him do it a half hour before his latest and probably biggest whiff to date if Stokes doesn’t come.

It doesn’t at all. But, the timing is a little weird, isn’t it? Why would they announce this 30 minutes before Stokes’ announcement & steal some of his thunder if he’s coming here? I think they’d have him wait til after Stokes’ announcement if we were getting him. Makes me think MM isn’t an option, either.

Exactly. He took noticeable steps down in conference / competition each year and only put up OK numbers when he downgraded to the Sun Belt. Plain and simple, he belongs in the Sun Belt.

McBride committing does nothing to Stokes’ “thunder”
