Not to digress, but Kirk is upset bc Iowa has been open and honest during the investigation and is being sanctioned. Lack of openness and honesty is what got them investigated. They cheated!
Maybe I wasn’t clear. I totally agree Iowa is guilty and should have consequences, but to have Michigan cheat in their own fashion and not have equal ramifications is beyond hypocritical and outrageous!

I was in the Green lawn and garden industry and was calling on a large greenhouse operation along the Ohio/ West Virginia border during the 1984 Olympics held in Athens, Greece. Ohio University is located in Athens Ohio and I’d just made a sales call and we were discussing the Games. A worker overheard us and mentioned that he’d just came from Athens (Ohio) and couldn’t believe the heavy traffic. He went about his way and I asked the owner to clarify what we just heard. He said that the guy thought the Games were being held locally. The owner explained, ‘Clem don’t get out much’.

Ben Askren did a video on Brands and said one of his big issues is that Brands has a communication problem. Yeah, if you ever get into a situation where you are screaming at a top recruit’s mom, for any reason, maybe you have a problem.
Good point. That invites the question of whether Brands gave Spencer‘s mom PTSD, thereby turning her into a glasses-breaking nervous wreck.

How about, “if your reputation is such that almost everyone would believe you would yell at a recruit’s mom, then you have a problem.”
And some people have a problem with getting hammered by Penn State year after year.
