I'm buddies with one very large booster and a few smaller boosters and I hear the same thing. Pope has to understand college basketball is now a business. Businesses need to keep their biggest clients happy, which is the donors. I'm hoping he adjusts this season, and I do know my large booster buddy actually gave more this season than he did last so I don't believe for a second money is the problem.

Same. He did give more, he said he was asked for more, but didn’t get the perks he was “promised.” Last time I talked to him though he was super pissed and said his give may have to change. To be fair though, it was right after we got our **** kicked in by Iowa St. but this guy is never really happy, it’s just his way of life, always mad at something or someone, and uses his wealth to basically **** on people constantly. He’s known as a total dick by lots of people.

I just walked up to his office and he’s yelling at people right now. I’m not going near him. Maybe later if I see him outside, he goes out a few times a day to get a walk in. Usually happier out there on the street.

If Stokes picks UK, there isn’t a single UK fan I know who won’t be elated. Not one.

Now, if he picks Kansas… then yes, I could see UK fans saying all of the above about him. But most of the negative comments will be directed at Pope, and rightfully so if he whiffs again.

Like the above poster said, it seems like Oregon has been pushed to the side. Now you’re left with Nike and Adidas. Being the number one recruit, I do think this carries some weight.

I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times, at the end of the day the shoe stuff means absolutely nothing.

I’m definitely not a troll. I just have higher standards for the program than you do I guess. I have not been happy with the play on the court and recruiting the last two years. I have made my displeasure known. That does not make me a troll. If we lan Stokes tonight. I will still need this results on the court but landing Stokes will start to change the narrative for me.
