Go on record now: Would you prefer Kentucky sign Tyran Stokes, or...

... two from the list of Milan Momcilovic, Juke Harris, Allen Graves or Tounde Yessoufou -- or players of equal value, for the same money.

Put me down for two proven, experienced college stars...(I know some will say 'Kentucky's not getting anyone.' But money talks and the Stokes bag of cash will flow somewhere useful if not to him. Kentucky can make an offer more attractive than being taken in the second round of the NBA draft to the right person.)

I saw where Darryn Peterson, last year's No. 1 high school recruit, got Kansas: The same round as Kentucky. Pretty much the same with Darius Acuff for Arkansas and Caleb Wilson for UNC-CHeats, and all three are projected NBA top 5 picks.

If Stokes picks Kentucky, my excitement will eclipse my concerns, at least for now. But I'd be more excited with two guys from that list above - or the equivalent.

Is that what it’s between? 2 really good portal players or stokes? If that’s what the coaching staff is between they’re idiots imo. It’s no question to take two good players

Dumb hypothetical - the alternative isn't happening. Tounde has already said he's staying in the draft, as will like Graves & Juke.

If you're choosing "others", one of them must absolutely be Monmcilovic -- need that elite shooting and floor spacing. Something like Harris + Tounde is a logjam waiting to happen.

That being said, I would pick Stokes just because UK needs that cred with top HS recruits. You cannot just ignore high end American high school talent and be an elite program.

Two from the list, BUT I'm on record as saying we don't land any of them. Stokes is a 50/50% himself and I believe he goes elsewhere.

I'm still not sold on Stokes. In all of the highlight reels i have watched of him, he seems slow. I'm afraid he might struggle at the college level against guys who are bigger and quicker.

He's the Boozer, Yaxel and Koa Peat of this years class. It's the type of player that seems to be needed on a true contender and I'll gladly take him because his handles and passing are better than all three of them.

I’m firmly out on Stokes. This guy screams drama and trouble to me. If we dodge that bullet, I’m fine with picking up a couple of the others. Honestly I’m so uninterested in Stokes, I’d say fold the money up and put it back in our pocket without picking up any of the others is preferable to buying his kind of problems.

I would prefer two from the list.

But a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

So, if I were in charge, I’d take whoever will commit first, which means ANY of the ones you’ve named between stokes and the list, vs. delaying taking a commitment I could get first from someone READY and willing to commit the soonest — and missing out by asking them to wait.

We have too much money not to land a big fish and hopefully 2 more. Its going to happen, Pope is going to land a big one 100%.
But this fanbase tonight, you may as well sign off for a few days.

I want any 2-or 3 to make a better team. I’m not sure Stokes makes UK a better team. Kids get jelious when one gets all the money and the attention. Let’s that be somebody else’s worry.

I'd rather have the 2 player option but I don't think we've got the money for 2 of those since all will be not that far in pay grade behind Stokes so I think it will be Stokes OR MM or Graves. I'd be as happy with just Graves as with Stokes...

the correct answer is we want the player that is deciding at 6:30 today and act excited about it

if he doesn't choose us, then we get excited about other option
