Interesting, I was surprised he committed here in the first place. Figured his dad wanted him to go somewhere else that had a little bit more of a history of developing guys for the NBA.

A PG and then two wings. Juric at the 5 and if the two euros that they picked up are reasonable than this team already is at least as talented as last year.
247 transfer portal ratings has Wingo at .94 and Dillione at .93.

Byers at .91, Blums at .88 and Rodgers at .87.

For comparison, Blackwood is .90, Houser .88, Rice at .88, Tunca at .87 and Stewart at .86 .

So, at least based off that, we definitely aren't better off than last year at this point. I'd imagine that Josh Reed would have been rated about a .90 ... so the incoming international players would have to be very legit to even match last year's awful roster.

When I scrolled down and saw the first photo on the right (which turned out to be that Roko dude), it looked like the guy only had 1 arm, since his arm sleeve blended in with the background somewhat ... and it's telling that I didn't flinch ... my mind was just "yep, that tracks ... we got a 1-armed guy ... nothing to see here ... 2 arms are for the better programs."

A hit to our diacritic ranking.

I think we still need 5 or 6 players to complete the roster and, in case you hadn't noticed, we have trouble attracting even low-level American talent, so I'm sure there are plenty more squiggles above letters yet to come.

So Saša will be looking to attend his fourth college in four years. I would love to see his transcripts. Talk about being on the fast track to completing a degree. I suspect that the NCAA's academic standards are getting even weaker than they used to be. And yes, Penn State is playing a role in this ever growing farce.

What academic standards? The NCAA had no academic standards even when it has academic standards.

Remember back when players would be ruled academically ineligible? Look across the college football and basketball landscape and it’s impressive that every player suddenly does enough to stay eligible. I guess all of the players have gotten smarter in the past 24 months.

When the student was finally completely eliminated from the words student athlete that is when they all got smarter and more academically focused.

Watching a “team” in “college” athletics (😞) is met each year with, “Who the f*ck are these guys?” It’s even worse if the “team” happens to be good because they likely won’t be back next year. At least we don’t have to worry about being good with Penn State men’s basketball.

😞

College sports has become a complete farce.

With football and basketball, it has been an academic farce for quite some time. While I can’t remember the name, there was a player on one of Chambers’ teams that flunked half of his classes during the fall semester, yet was still academically eligible by the NCAA for the spring semester.
