Is the team set for next season?

No we need two big dogs to complete the roster. The SEC is brutal and we definitely can’t compete against the top ten teams with who we have now. I like the base a lot but we need a superstar scorer who can get a bucket when we need one! We also need a big time shooter who can keep the defense honest and knock down open threes. Would love to add another big rebounder who can hold his on inside as well, but that’s probably a want more than a need if we get the other two.

C'mon, this board already has him pegged as a future Hall-of-Famer. 22 year old guy who somehow has more "potential" than a 5 star 19 year-old. Remember when we used to say "we have a young but talented team, we have room to grow and will be dangerous in March". Whether or not it panned out, it was truthful. Now, these people are flipping it saying these older bums we recruit (that nobody else wants) suddenly have "potential"?!! No, just, no.

Our second highest potential guy (#1 being Hawthorne) is an unranked kid from Furman. Cot dayum.
But some say that our guards are ELITE!!!

What also gets me is this is Louisville's current roster, for the number 1 portal haul the roster is very unimpressive to me. No team looks at that and is afraid.
PG: 6’1 Shelstad/ 6’3 Johnson
SG: 6’5 Montgomery/ 6’4 Woolley
SF: 6’6 Knox
PF: 6’10 Folgueiras
C: 6’9 Bidunga/ 7’5 Dynes

Before anyone says anything I understand we shouldn't compare ourself to Little Brother, but I do find it comical people think PK has done so good yet we "SUCK" in their minds. I'd take our starting 5 over theirs 10/10 times.
Shelstad: I've read a few blogs saying he's not a difference maker.

Montgomery: he's supposed to be a lock down defender but not very good offensively.

Knox: He was a McDonald's AA but kind of got recruited over & was injured so know one really knows how he'll do.

Folgueiras: We missed on him last year, he hit the big 3 to put Florida out. He only averaged 8.6 ppg or something like that & wasn't a knock down shooter.

Bidunga: Solid defensively & good rebounder but can't hit anything outside of 4'-5' away from the basket.

I definitely don't see the 3 point shooting they had last year so is their team that much better right now?

It’s worse than their roster was last year IMO. That’s what makes it so funny.

Why is anyone pretending like this roster is our final roster? Even IF that 5 is our final starting 5 (which is what the tweet in the OP says), the graphic in that same tweet clearly shows that we have 4 backup spots to fill that would be playing ahead of Noah, Potter, M Williams, and Z Hawthorne. Those 4 guys aren't our depth even if we don't get a stud to start at SF.

It still won't be good enough. But there's no need to invent silly fantasies about how awful we might be if literally not another player joined the roster.
