It's rare that a walk-off HR is probably not the best moment of the weekend. What makes Parker's moment the winner?

We needed 4 runs just to get back tied and he delivered them with one swing. Gonna be hard to win that game without that swing right there.

Not discounting Big Lew at all, but we were going to have more opportunities to win that first game if he didn't get it done then.

I don't even like picking between these great moments. 17 you DS, you flat screen hoarding swizzle stick.****

The Parker shot had the most immediate impact but I don't know if we get to that one if Lew doesn't hit that one on Friday. And to that end, we were down to our last out, maybe our last strike when Woodson came through to score Sanders who was at second only because of a successful challenge on a play that should have been out all day long.

The uniqueness of Saturday night of SBW, being down 4 with bases loaded and the freshman slugger up. Walkoffs happen somewhere every weekend. But coming back from being down 7-2 and suddenly tied with one swing in that atmosphere. Thats like a movie script.

Milewski's walkoff secured a win of course, but we were tied in extras, we were in the game. We'd had chances to win it already, and we'd have more. We might lose, but losing in extras happens.

Parkers granny was a "AND WE'RE BACK" all at once moment in a game that was looking lost for sure. It was a "Jacob Parker is going to be the next big thing" moment for our future and for his. It was a game-tying grand slam by a freshman on SBW in front of the 3rd largest ever crowd to help deliver a humongous blow to our most hated baseball rival and the reigning champs. 15,000+ folks went apeshit. Perfect moment, perfect batter at the plate, and we stand no chance to win that game without that swing.

LSU is taking it on the chin this year post-natty, just like we did in 2022. I for one am absolutely giddy that we were able to help pour it on them. Parker's granny would've been sweet no matter the opponent, but the fact that it was against LSU, *chef's kiss*

And we'd also had no chance in that game without Bauer's long relief, but a 4+ innings of 0 run ball relief outing just isn't a Moment of the Weekend, I"m sorry. I'm SUPER ecstatic about his future because of it...but it wasn't a moment

There is no wrong answer, but Parker for a couple of reasons. Packed crowd on national TV broadcast and the drama around it. Milewski's was at the end of 5 hours of playing baseball in rain after a 3pm start. Not fair to judge Milewski based on those factors, but here we are... Both were damn important!

I voted Parker but in addition to your point about Woodson I'd add Nunnallee's bases loaded diving catch in the top of the 10th to preserve the tie as another "moment" from the weekend that sticks out for me. Was kinda hoping he could turn around and be the one to walk it off in the bottom of the 10th as I'm sure the year hasn't gone the way he had envisioned.

Yeah, that was a huge play and I was happy for him since he hasn't found it at the plate this year.

Had to get game 1 to get the sweep. Set the tone for the weekend, I don't know if we come back in games 1 and 2 if we don't get that first one.

I voted for Parker's grand salami. We needed game 2 badly (obviously) to go ahead a clinch the series. Sunday would've been a nail biter had we lost. Down 4 that late in the game, I had already thrown in the towel. That hit gave a shot of hope to everyone at taking the series.

All spot on. This might end up being the turning point also that ignites the new "weapon" in JB24. He may have turned a HUGE corner and we are going to need him over the next 4 weeks.

I think it's that, the fact that most thought that game was over, plus the fact that the whole inning--after the 2nd baserunner got on base--the stadium was louder than I've ever heard it.

Everyone was on their feet making noise, and it was clearly affecting LSU's pitchers.

They couldn't throw strikes.

For me the Woodson hit was just as big in game 1 as the walkoff. Down to the last strike and has been struggling at the plate.

The grand slam was the moment of the weekend though. Everything about it was spectacular.

LSU putting 3 on the board each 1st inning knowing it wouldn't matter.

Bauer emerging as an inning-eater gives me hope our pitching will be strong for the postseason. Good pitching beats good hitting.
