???
Blaze has always been fine in every previous interview I've seen. Never appeared uncomfortable to me.
He has plenty of experience answering interview questions…….which he is fine at doing. I never said he was uncomfortable…….your words. Marcus was painting a picture, providing details beyond simply answering the questions and adding depth to the discussion. More Mitch Mess like

Herring vs Dekraker up on mat 8

Herring with a beautiful head pinch for 4. 4-0

Dekraker with a slick duck for a td. 4-2

Huge 4 for Dekraker. 6-4 at the break

Td Herring. He leads 6-6 on criteria

another Td for Herring. 8-6

Dekraker hits another huge lay throw for 4. 10-8 Dekraker

Step out Herring. 10-9 :30 left

td Herring but reversal for Dekraker. Should be 11-11 with Dekraker up on criteria but score is showing 11-10 Herring. Refs looking at it. Now score shows 12-9 Dekraker somehow.

Dekraker wins 12-10. Not sure about the score in the last exchange

Asher losing 5-4 to Humphries with 2:15 left

Asher with a td to go up 6-5

Asher with 2 crotch lifts and it’s 10-5

Another crotch lift. 12-5. Asher just stands straight up lets guys in. Finishing is a different matter

Td Asher. 14-5

Asher wins 14-5. He gassed pretty good. Still sloppy and lets people in WAY too easy but he is tough to finish on.

This was funny - from you know what board:

David Makalaster

Redshirt

Spencer was better in 2017 than Luke will ever be. Not a close match.
Several things HR guarantees is stalling will be offered as the reason the other guy scored more points, and/or somebody who falsely believes they know wrestling will post something really stupid to rationalize Hawks losing.

I’m super high on Henckel and have said in the past that I think he’s a title contender next year. This tournament does nothing to change my mind. A few seconds away from beating Kennedy and losing a super tight one to Wick. After watching Asher and seeing the improvements he has made in the last year makes me think he might just beat Henckel for the 174 spot though. His trajectory is straight up. Kid is a monster. Either way I think our 174 next year is going to be in title contention
Asher's scrambling has been developed into a cleaner and more thoughtful technique and while he didn't wrestle the senior level, so far thru the U20 QFs he looks like a GDed beast.

Haakon Peterson beats Kody Routledge 6-3. Peterson has 1 Cassioppi twin next while Jayden James has the other twin. Peterson has looked. Beat Will Denny and then Routledge back to back.

Burnett vs Mills coming up on Mat 3

Mills #1 in the country at 126 with Burnett #2. Mills will be at Ohio State next year. Burnett will be a senior at Perrysburg HS next year before heading to PSU

Mills goes on the clock.

Burnett gets 1 on the step out and 1 on the shot clock. 2-0 Burnett

2-0 at the break

Burnett with a go behind for 2 and then 2 guts!! 8-0

Mills gets on the board with a 1 and a caution and 1. 8-2 now

Burnett with another step out. 9-2

He is dominating from front head. Looking like his hs teammate Blaze

Burnett gets a Td on the edge and a turn for the tech!! 13-2. Challenge Mills but it’s a yolo brick. Should end 14-2

Incredible performance by Burnett

Final will be Cortez vs Burnett. Cortez beat Sanchez 6-5 I believe

Asher just seems to be supremely confident in his ability to let a guy in on his legs, sit the corner, and crotch lift for points. Sometimes his strategy backfires but most of the time he uses his strength and flexibility - and his apparent mean streak - to his advantage.

U20 61 is so bad because the top 3 at SRs are all eligible. One of them might take the team spot by showing at WTT and 10-0 1st period through that and U20 final x
