This kid averaged over 16 points a game on the Senegal national team playing against other top tier players so this kid knows how to score. He isn't playing against weak Euro players. He is playing in a more competitive league that Jelevic played in.

If he’s better now then we got the right guy. If he needs development then we got the wrong guy.

Say what you want but Senegalese kids want to be better and will play their butts off to prove it.

Having met some of these players in Saly, I guarantee you the kid is going to give his all to this program

That "beanpole" is 5 lbs. heavier than Freeman. They are very similar in their lack of bulk.
5 pounds heavier at two inches taller is skinnier. On paper they are still similar in their height/weight ratio but anyone can see Freeman is significantly stockier. N’Diaye is a total beanpole and looks emaciated. That will make a big difference against SEC competition. You have to remember the quoted dimensions are what somebody somewhere decided should go to press for a purpose.

wow he must be elite at everything then why isn’t he in the nba? Somebody read the highschool scouting reporting instead of actually watching games.
They did but I think that somebody was you. His offense is what is being inflated. Neither of these guys are NBA prospects not sure where your pretty little head got the idea that comes into it but we got the one who’s more of a work in progress on defense.

So whats the plan if Moreno decides to not return?
Pivot the best you can is all about anyone can do in the situation.
You try to get someone that does come back, go for a reclass, try a G leaguer, or look overseas.

You free up a fair chunk of change and get a some street cred for turning a one and done to help take real swings at whatever opportunities that do present themselves or you can dig out of the haystack.

He does not look emaciated to me and the extra 2" of height and 85" wingspan have their advantages as well. 5 lbs. heavier and 2" taller is not a significant difference.
