Five of those uncommitted players are ranked in the top 10 of the 247Sports rankings: Iowa State junior forward Milan Momcilovic (No. 2 in the rankings), Santa Clara redshirt freshman Allen Graves (No. 4), Baylor freshman guard Tounde Yessoufou (No. 5), Arizona State freshman center Massamba Diop (No. 6) and Wake Forest sophomore guard Juke Harris (No. 8). The Cats have been linked to Momcilovic, Graves and Yessoufou from the portal. All three players are going through the NBA draft process. Players going through the draft process have until May 27 to withdraw and maintain their college eligibility.

The other top-100 portal players yet to commit are NC State sophomore guard Paul McNeil Jr. (No. 33), Georgetown sophomore center Julius Halaifonua (No. 56), Oklahoma State sophomore guard Vyctorius Miller (No. 85), Arizona freshman forward Dwayne Aristode (No. 89), Cal Poly sophomore guard Hamad Mousa (No. 91) and Florida Atlantic freshman guard Josiah Parker (No. 99). Aristode was a five-star recruit in the 2025 class and reported a scholarship offer from Kentucky during his high school recruitment.

I am greedy. We have had decent for the last 7-8 years. I want a great team. Final Four like.
Yes. Why else even play the game if we’re not trying to win the championship. We need to get Stokes wrapped up and do everything we possibly can to get Momcilovic. Got our superstar athlete who can take over the game when we need, and the shooter to make sure he has a 1 on 1 opportunity to score. If they even think about a double team, Momcilovic will make them pay all night. That’s the best possible outcome in my eyes. Of course there’s a few more players who could probably make us just as good or better so hopefully we just get a great play maker and a great shooter. Need a big physical rebounder as well, if we can find one where the money is right.

When is the last day where a player has to commit?
I'm not sure there is such a thing. At some point, it becomes impractical but I don't know if there is a drop dead date.

Almost everyone is sorted naturally a few weeks after the deadline to withdraw from the draft which I think is around the 25th of May or so.

There may be some firm date like summer practice or the semester starting but it doesn't seem to matter much in a rubber meets the road sort of way. Anyone serious about playing and getting paid is going to be in position or at least decided before practice starts so at least there is some preperation for them to have some role in a rotation.

Pretty sure Yessoufou is still flagged DNC. Not sure how much we’re really linked to him besides daydreaming.
I've heard the designation more translates to "call my agent, don't bug me" than to "I am not accepting any other offers" but who knows it may vary individually. I'd say hopium may have been a factor too but that wasn't my impression at the time.

I have a feeling Pope goes after Vytorious Miller. He recruited him last off season and he may be easier to convince. That or he convinced Joson Sanon.

Hopefully, we can land a shooter like McNeil, a decent wing, and rebounder/rim protector.

I see Stokes-Momcilovic-Oweh all on the same tier- and I think take your pick at handicapping.

We need one of those.
Stokes is better than both oweh and momcilovic.
He just has parts of his game that are special and you know it when u see it. Pretty rare to see the #1 player be that unselfish

Sure. Tiering can still be rank ordered.
