I don’t think we as UK fans have any room to judge what other programs are doing. As of right now all we have is the history of the program.
Arkansas had 6 transfer out this year including 2 MacD AA’s. Cal continues to disappoint more players than he pleases.

The worst part about all of this. Under Pope, UK has become irrelevant, we aren’t even part of the story, not even a footnote. Teams that are football schools in the SEC have surpassed us with better coaching and a AD that is dedicated to taking what UK once had. It’s gonna take a complete refresh to get back into the picture and it’s gonna take awhile for it to happen.
I’d be getting the Brinks truck ready for Milan. He’d be perfect for the build we have going.

talking other programs anymore. Capilouto & Barnhardt have set this basketball program back a decade.
He was horrible and it was time for him to leave. At the end of his tenure was not acceptable for UK's standards regarding his results in the NCAA tournament nor the SEC tournament. At the same time, I don't see how anyone can be confident and relieved with the new guy at the helm. We are towards the bottom of the SEC, can't recruit talent (even with some of the top revenue share), players don't fit, the coach has zero resume to be here, and we are the laughing stock of college basketball. I just find it difficult to laugh at or critique other programs, even if their coach left a bitter taste in our mouths.
Arkansas seems too young to compete this year. He better add a couple vets and even still a very bad year to try and win a title for anyone not Arizona,Michigan, Illinois, Duke, UCONN, St John’s, Florida etc…

Yep and it not looking like that’s gonna happen . Cal is possibly gonna finish with Mikka and Ekezie . Will be the same as last year . fun team to watch but going to get pushed around under the basket ..

Yes. The roster build. The style of team coming together. You be critical of it however you like, your opinion, but its missing a dead eye shooter. Milan at 3 is our ideal piece right now, and I’d prefer him over Stokes. Stokes has a lot to like- especially the narrative improvement- but for best results I’d rather have 48% 6-8 3pt shooter- who is experienced and focused on last improvements to get drafted. This all on the assumption he comes back, of course.
He was brain dead in the 2nd half of tournament games. Brute force application of talent only.
Against other good players he looks underwhelming. All the talent in the world but doesn't seem like a cal player. Only other guy remotely close to him that played for cal was wiltjer
Murrinnen is 3x the athlete Wiltjer was and has 1/3 the skill.
You do realize we lost by 2 less points to a lesser opponent in an earlier round, correct?
