I really hope a reporter puts a dollar figure to the UofL roster so that if they aren’t one of the top tier teams next year they have to hear that $25m figure (or whatever it is) all year. It was so much fun for us last year I would hate it for them if they were deprived of the same experience.
They also thought Fru was the second coming of Jesus and that the BYU Egyptian guy wouldn't suck donkey nuts and we saw how that turned out.U6 fans on x are acting like they stole him from UK.And that he is the next Kareem Abdul Jabar.
I never said you wanted dynes or remotely indicated such, rather a retort to your comment that posters here would be complaining about not getting him. The closest I have seen is a few posters saying he would have been nice for 5 fouls, most I have seen are like you (and I) and are glad he didn’t choose us.

I couldn't make any sense in pursuing him beyond a courtesy zoom for a home state kid and that was almost pushing it. It isn't like he has any time to develop left or anything.

Hell no. I think the bigger issue might be if POPE actually wanted him. Another miss packaged with another attempt to get someone who isn’t very good. It’s concerning on that level, but man…end of the day I’m glad he’s not a Cat.
I am okay with that. Potter can actually do things on a basketball ball court beyond being very tall.
Like if you give him 20 mintues (probably too rich for my blood but like 12 could be okay) he might make a basket or grab a board more than once a game.

DeShayne Montgomery committed to UL as well. IMHO he's the better player than Jerone Morton. Unfortunately, we didn't even get him on campus.

I never wanted him on the roster and thought it was a waste of time and potential money. HOWEVER, what DOES bother me is the fact that Pope was recruiting him and still missed. Maybe Kelsey offered more money and/or playing time. Regardless, it's another addition to the long list of whiffs.
Given the roster that Pat Kelsey is putting together for next season, I think Dynes might get some playing time towards the end of the game as they are blowing us out.

Montgomery is starting there. Their other guard is Wooley so it's either Montgomery or Wooley, but either way, he wasn't going to start here over Wilkins.
Morton seems to be ok with a reserve role.
