It sure would be nice to give any of our pitchers this weekend some run support. Feel he’ll settle in but wow the at bats have been rough.
I know, which is what’s upsetting. I flushed last night, but I did it thinking we would come out hot today. Gavin needs to get it together at the plate ASAP. Why are we letting this horrible pitcher own us?
Looks like we can’t get the ball out of the infield again today. This is wild.
Man…this is starting to get me nervous. Came out of last weekend a solid national seed. We really need to figure out how to win this series. And right now Duke has all the momentum and starting Glauber hasn’t been the slam dunk we hoped.
Everybody loved swinging at the first pitch when Hull hit a grand slam on one.
I will credit no dookie anything, ever. I mean, never, ever, ever. We have to wake up and beat these guys! Come on!
What a play by Cooper at third, dives for the ball that was smoked right down the line, goes airborne, grabs the ball and slings it over to Paulson in time for the out at first
I really hate watching baseball on a turf field.
Does Carolina not have a hitting instructor? Gavin is dropping his back shoulder worse than a girl on a slow pitch softball team. He's also not shifting his weight and is going down on his knee on a lot of swings and only using his arms. I see flaws in a few other players swings as well. If we don't have a hitting instructor we need to get one and if we do have one we need a new one.
Would love to see some power from our bats at some point in this series.
It’s time we start having some quality at bats. At this rate this pitcher can throw a complete game. We have to get in that bullpen

I think Weirz is the hitting coach. Gavin needs to spend some extra time with him. Something has to change.
