Jerome Morton, just might be the next boom he's a bench player but he can shoot the three. Kentucky native, grew up loving UK basketball and just might jump at the chance. 38 percent from deep. Washington State transfer who also spent a year at Moorhead

Sans two players, and I’m being generous, all UK has is bench players!

But, that’s what UK is now… Bench Player U!

You know who’s having the last laugh?John Vincent Calipari 🤮
I disagree with that premise and if the five and five passes I think this coming team will be among the most exciting we put on the floor in a long time

Just glancing at his game logs, two of his best games of the season were against Gonzaga (16 and 15 points). Had a 9 assist game against St. Mary's. Not much Washington State tape on Youtube to watch. Good size and build, solid shooter albeit on kinda low volume.

Would be inexpensive guard depth and hopefully extra shooting off the bench.

Didn’t see it coming, but I think things are working out very well. Like Wilkins’ mid to long term potential better than Wright. More length and floor visibility and just seems like a very savvy player. Ndiaye has no injury history, seems to want to play rather than negotiate and play games, and has many tools to work with. He’s a matchup nightmare. Keep working Mark. The real fans are optimistic.

Morton should be a solid bench piece.

Cals biggest fan. Guy just grin while spewing crap. Moreno, wilkins, zoom, and new guy aren't bench players. Kam, potentially hawthorne aren't either if they develop. Moreno can be good gotta work get stronger and hands. Ndiaye more athletic than freeman and less injury prone.

Based on what? Even if it did pass, there are no guarantees any of those players would want to come here. We have a few roster spots left, and the majority of eligible players will go to other schools, which pushes us even further down. Last year, we had 10 guys who would be great if they were the 3rd or 4th option on a team, and they all thought this was their time to step and be a main piece, and it looked horrible. Same thing in incoming for next year.

couple of things in response. a lot of teams have already filled their rosters so they would have no room. secondly if it does pass Oweh has said he would definitely consider coming back for a 5th year. I believe it will pass however the fly in the ointment for our Cats in the coming year would be when would that become available they may wait a year

Lmao, yea, I'm sure they cared.

That was so much better than him bringing his **** team last year into Rupp and absolutely embarrassing us on prime time television in the first match up since he left.

Plus, I bet they were really pissed off about it while they were hoisting that SEC tournament trophy.

He can’t be any good. Isn’t he from Winchester. He’s a Ky kid. He’s not a 5 star. Ok, it’s time to punk if out.

Save your breath.
You are talking to a bunch of fans that have no clue why uk was bad last season or what it takes to be a good team. Only thing most on here worry about is 3 pt % lol

6th leading scorer, 7th in usage on a very bad team. He wasn't able to assert himself playing on a bottom-half-of-conference mid major. Year before, he was a key player on a 500-in-conference OVC team. Unless we really are saving up NIL money to drop on one or 2 studs (who?), this is not the kind of player we need to fill our roster with. We already have M Williams, Noah, Potter, Z Hawthorne who are decent mid major level players.

Morton is ranked No. 508 overall and the 138th-best shooting guard to enter his name into the transfer portal this offseason by On3. He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining at his next stop.

Last year OO was preseason SEC POY.
Lowe - JQ were not 3rd - 4th options on any team

I saw this post and must ask; is this the Dave Kersey who posted on the old RR?
Always liked reading his posts; whether or not things turned out exactly what he posted, it was always an honest post.
Must say if this is the same Dave Kersey, this is a much different group posting.
