Well our basketball coach stepped down, maybe thatās what it was lol.
It has been quiet about any kids moving lately. Think we see some movement after baseball? Or possibly some after a week or two of summer practice?
Thatās what Iām thinking. Iām thinking there might be some things already in the works where kids donāt want to ruffle feathers at their current school and I also see a scenario where some starters from last year get beaten out during summer ball and decide to switch, especially at the QB position.
It usually happens over summer. Coaches prefer before school let's out. That way any kinda eligibility issues pop up they can be handled in timely manner. Instead of being caught off guard or unprepared
Bandy's has a new offensive coordinator, Bill Vaughn. Son use to play basketball/football Landon Vaughn
Lincolnton is the fair-minded, kind-spirited, glass-half-full, man that I want to be, lol.
Honestly, guys, I donāt know who is or isnāt transferringā¦Like you, I saw what was on the message boards.
Got to say though, people around here are excited about next season. There has been a good bit of talk about the Wolves having lots of key players from last yearās team returning, and we have a chance for a good solid season, but Iāve seen things go the other way.
In 2005, Lincolnton made it to the title game before losing out to Clinton 13-6. We had several good players on that team coming back who would be rising juniors, and things looked promising for the next year then, but we would finish the 2006 season something like 5-7 losing to Maiden in the first round of the playoffs.
Then in 2007, with some of the players who were standouts on the 2005 team, now seniors, they would win the titleā¦I know you get tired of my āanecdotes,ā but my point is unexpected things can happen.

I think at least half of those teams will be breaking in a new QB.
Not sure some conference schools know what qb they will be breaking in yet....
I thought I saw somewhere that he transferred? I very well may be wrong on that one, my memory fails me at times. But the other 3 will be for sure

I believe these rankings are based on this past season. No way Shelby is ahead of Lincolnton and ER come August. Just losing our QB alone drops us down some notches.
He posts a lot of stuff. I read it for the entertainment value and he does let people know a lot about who is going where recruiting wise, but all these way too early polls are opinions and something fun for us to talk about on this board. He did post this tooā¦is this going to be the QB??

He is possibility along with a 9th grader that missed most of his JV year with an injury. Raper is great athlete that plays a lot of positions. We will see.
Im mainly concerned with 4A. Burns, Maiden, Cramer, West Craven, and Newton i think all graduated there QB. Central Davidson may have too im just not familiar with them.
Burns and Cramer both return alot and Maiden has some good receivers and some good defensive players returning.
Beamer we are all jealous of your QB, I can promise you that.
Shelby is loaded. A lot of division 1 talent
Raper has been getting some reps as has Scott..... if we can keep Scott healthy he will end up being another good one.... Raper needs to touch the ball a lot...
Still will be a bit young in spots but you are right, a lot of D1 talent, several will be sophs
We could take a lump or three early on, but I full expect us to be a team that goes VERY deep yet once again
I just dropped my pup off in Maiden, for grooming. I cant put my finger on any specifics, but it feels luke they are up to something as soon as you pass the golf course, and enter Devil air space.
@amaidendevil and @GrizzlyDevil have been way too quiet. They must be working over time for a new QB NIL package.
Which groomer lol. And we are just minding our business in blue heaven. Nothing fishy around here. Just beautiful blue skys and and scenery
You can see our QB in 7 on 7 league. Heard Ben has been accurate in his passes
