Great match so far. Jax makes everything exciting and Davino looks super solid. Offense and defense scores.

Davino looked incredible. He completely shut Jax down. Might slow down the hype train a bit

Bassett is deadly from that front headlock. He goes head in the hole to a single or a go behind and no one can stop it
A little bit of me thinks that Cael changed things a couple years ago from peaking at nationals to wrestling a high level year round - B1Gs, NCAAs, summer freestyke, etc. while DT only learned NCAA peaking from him.

The incoming Virginia Tech standout beat up the former Nittany Lion in one 65-kilogram final. Bassett won by technical fall, 10-0, in 3:38.
Looks like HEnson got Kasak with a eye poke with Kasak leading 1-0 off a step out at the 5:00 mark. Injury time at the moment.
It couldn’t be concussion. He wouldn’t be wrestling.

The broken nose theory on Kasak makes some sense to me. He immediately grabs his nose each time.

Yes, that definitely is a valid theory, for sure. True? I don't know. But sure seems feasible.
hopefully James or Duke can certify at 157. This sucks. Kasak was my favorite wrestler to watch two years ago.

Put Kasak in that room Ali Larter lived in for the Final Destination movie until September
Duke needs to hold 157 for 1 more year. That makes the most sense if possible.

Despite leading Virginia Tech's Caleb Henson 1-0 in one 70-kilogram semifinal, Penn State's Tyler Kasak was forced to medically forfeit the match nearly midway through. The nature of the injury is unclear, though he grabbed at his face before going down to the mat, and it wasn't the first time in this tournament. Henson will face Ridge Lovett in tomorrow's final.Maybe this is where Bridezillla Bartlett goes full throttle on Bassett!
