It’s not being a “hater” to list his stats over the last two years. I’m somebody who thinks he’s the best option as long as he plays great defense and gets on base at over a .350 clip (OBP is the stat I care about most in a 9 hitter), but we don’t have to cherry pick stats to try to make him something he’s not.

The answer is .162 and .280... the point being he started slow last year and finished hot. Oh, and his OBP last year was .357.
