I watch Monday Night Football "Manningcast" on ESPN2 every time it's on for a game. Much more entertaining and they bring some great guests on during the game.

I'll just disagree. Clarks timing is almost as on point off the court. If you saw her Saturday night live bit she was great. Her early State Farm commercials were a bit like you mentioned, but the newer logo one is fantastic, and her Gatorade commercials as well. Watch some of the other WNBA crowd who have started gets spots since Clark opened the door for them. Talk about bad actors, lolol...

Nepotism in professional sports. Brony was a serviceable, never elite... never good college basketball player. He is on that team for one reason.

Bronny is a fringe NBA talent. These guys need the right fit and opportunity to make it.
The Lakers are invested in Bronny's development, so he's got a chance.
Again, it's smart business. There is no victim here, as very few 2nd round picks make the league anyway. The Lakers are making money off of a 2nd round pick, and could potentially still get production from him.

Brony James was not good enough to start at USC. He started 6 of 25 games he played in and averaged just over 4 points a game.
In the G League this year he averaged less than 10 points a game and shot 21% from 3 and 35% overall.
It's all about money. If Brony's last name was Smith he would have never made it on standards based on meritocracy. He's bringing in money, that's the only line.

Brony is not a fringe NBA player. The harm is done for other players more deserving who didn't get that shot and potentially the locker room for players who aren't getting Bronny's minutes. It's not what I would be happy with if I were another Lakers bench guard.
The guest/interviews on the Manningcast are my least favorite part. Three people trying to hold a conversation over zoom while also trying to call a live game is pretty difficult and most of the time it comes off rough.
I'd rather listen to Peyton and Eli together.

I said Bronny is a "fringe talent". 6'2", with a 32 inch vertical, high basketball IQ, and success in his bloodlines. Yes, all of that can be developed into an NBA player.
He played in 42 games. 9 minutes a game. Was not a rotational player. Meaning he wasn't taking minutes from someone more deserving. The rest of the guys at the end of the bench were getting the same mop-up minutes that Bronny was.
Again, almost no 2nd round picks make the league. The one's that do, usually make it with a team other than the one they were drafted by. It's all about fit.
Bronny isn't keeping anyone who's good enough to get a chance, from getting one. It just won't be with the Lakers. Those fringe players will have to show well in the D-league, and hope to catch on with the right team, same as if Bronny weren't drafted

You got one correct. What you call ‘fringe’ most would consider marginal at best. It is the ‘bloodline’ that got him the opportunity.

I don't think anyone has claimed anything other than Bronny's name gave him the opportunity (at least that early in his career)
